It's great if you want to have that ambience of a fire on a special trip, but not something to use on a daily basis as it gives about 3 hours total of flame. You can stop and relight but when the wax is gone it's done. It would be great if you could "refill" it with some more wax.

S’mores got burnt instead of mushy! Be warned this is NOT FOR SMORES! The seller posts a picture that this is perfect for s’mores which is false advertising! Also to note, this product was very hard to relight. For the value of this product it’s not worth the amount you’re paying! Stay away!

I never write reviews but thought this was worth mentioning since they advertise it for this purpose. Bought this for the 4th of July with the intention of using it for s’mores. All of the kids marshmallows got spot on them right away without being cooked. Too much soot to make it edible. We tried putting in above and in the flame with no luck. This should not be marketed to make s’mores with..

Sure you could give it as a gift, however for the price you can seriously make this you're self with a can of Tuna or cookie tin, some wax and cardboard. It's only about 2 -3 hours on burn time and definitely doesn't work for s'mores. You'd be better off using the microwave for those.
