Needed to replace a broken buckle on backpack waist strap. Original was definitely cheap plastic - this has much more rugged feel. So far so good!

Good strong no sew buckles. Easy to assemble on the webbing. Looks to last a long time. Great value for your money.

The packet was labeled and listed on Amazon as 1 1/2". They are actually 2". They are bigger than I wanted but will work. Other than that, they look good and work well.Someone in China needs to learn to convert metric to inches. Or maybe we should join the rest of the modern world and go metric and leave the Jurassic world behind.

the AXEN buckle appears to be well built. However, I ordered the wrong size, 1" instead of my needed 1.5". The replacement buckle, not an AXEN product, did not seem to be as strong. Time will only tell if the new buckle holds up.

Well built, but it takes too much pressure to squeeze the two tabs to release the buckle. Would not buy again.
