Great kit but needs additions.
Great piece of kit for when you're out walking and fancy a brew, can be used to warm up basic camping meals but has no simmer control so its very much a case of boil in the bag stuff. Fits together nicely but it could be a better fit, especially with the metal cup which rattles a little. I would definitely buy a bag to hold it all together and some form of lid which would make this a good basic brew set. Works well with a small penny stove and the recommended firedragon fuel but I felt a Trangia style burner would be too big for use with this. Might fit in the mark 2 set though I can't confirm as I don't own that.Edit: a long time down the line and I've used it a bit now so I thought I'd mention my experiences with this set. It's still a good basic set, but the bottle that came with this kit wasn't so great. It's missing a rubber seal between the screw on cap and the neck so if you have it any other way than vertical it does leak. I used the metal cup on a gas burner and the black coating came off so you would want to limit its use to less powerful flames. Like the firedragon fuel block which does work well with this but if you're doing a full cup of water you will need 1.5 blocks for a boil so look out for that.

Simple and effective !
Good metal cup and burner unit used by many ! However the bottle and cup that came with mine are a cheaper, smaller version of the issue osprey bottle which is a very loose fit in the mug, so please be aware of this . but the cup and stand seem the proper deal . still one of the most compact kits around though- simple and it works !! Just make yourself a lid though to speed up boil time and save fuel . a wind shield also helps with boil time .

A great bit of kit with a crap coating.
The finish started to come off the cooker with the first use.Used with a Hexi block.Should have bought the silver one.

Superb service
Excellent service delivery was ahead of schedule the water bottle is not to the standard of my original issue (osprey 58 pattern water bottle dated 1983) but it is more than good enough for kids to use in the field. All in all the kids will love it.Thanks

what's not to love. well made robust and cheap at this price
what's not to love. well made robust and cheap at this price. managed to upgrade to mk2 burner for under £6. Original packaging had been opened and did rattle a bit in the box but it took the knocks well.
