I was looking for a summer hat for vacation and had been comparing products in Amazon. My friend recommended me this item, and I found that there was a lighting sale coming up, so I went for it and got this hat at a price of only $15. I was already having high expectation on this hat based on previous comments, but I was still surprised by its quality when I opened it. The shipping was super quick even without prime.As shown by others, the hat came in this plastic “capsule” that really holds the hat in its proper shape, so it looks like I just got it out from a local store (even better actually). It comes with the black string in the description (I don’t need it, so I didn’t unpack it) and two black strips that I’m not sure what they are used for. The hat is very sturdy and in good quality. The straws are neatly weaved and no crooked part at all. Some hats may have glue overfilling issue near the hat band, which was what I was worried about too, but this hat has none of that issue and the hat band is tightly secured.When I first tried it on, it was a bit too big, so I adjusted the inner string until it fits me comfortably. Usually I have a hard time to find a hat of this shape to fit me, but this one actually fits me very nicely and makes my face look small even with my big mask on. I got the hat in brown and this shade goes very well with my outfits. The first and last pictures display the shade more accurately. I don’t think anyone would guess that I only got this hat for $15 when I walk out with it lol

Very well made, very well packaged. Comes in a plastic case. Has added removable under-the-chin straps if needed. Beautiful classic hat. Will travel well.

Bought this for a cruise. It was just the right size. It was well made and I loved the protective case! Super cute and Money well spent!

I purchased this hat in the Carol-brown color with the black ribbon, in a size medium. My head circumference is 7 1/8, so ordered a medium. It fits well and looks stylish, keeping the sun off my face, but not have a really wide brim. Fits my petite body and doesn’t look oversized. I like that it’s adjustable and really like the fact that it has the straps you can clip on so it doesn’t blow away if it’s windy. I’m happy with my purchase.

I rarely write a review when something meets my expectations. But, this purchase was a great surprise. Not only did it meet my expectations but it exceeded them massively. The hat is beautiful and very well made and exactly what I wanted, in black, for those warm winter days in Colorado when I need a sun hat. The price was such a good deal that I just had to have it and the quality surprised me. The great surprise was that it came in its own hard plastic zippered shell for storage and to maintain the shape. I have never purchased a hat that came with its own storage and I've purchased a lot of hats as I don't go in the sun without a brim. I will definitely be purchasing from this company again and highly recommend that others do as well.

I didn't expect to find such a nice hat online. Hats are such particular things that one usually needs to try them on, feel them, and see them before taking a leap. I desperately needed a sun hat and got this expecting something functional but not particularly special. However I absolutely love this hat. The brim is just the right size to protect my face from sun, without being too big. It holds its shape well, and has a attachable strap to put around your chin to keep it from flying away on Windy days. I love that I can tuck the strap into the hat so it doesn't show when I wear it on non windy days. I always find straps look a little dorky, so this ability to hide the strap is perfect. My mom saw the hat and liked it so much she asked me to get her the same one. It is that good.

I like the tight weaving and texture of the hat. It feels quality and durable. The zipper cover is handy to keep dust off of it.I gave it only three stars because it was advertised to be adjustable to my head size and there was no string to adjust inside and the hat is a bit too small for my head even without the string. The brim is very small so it’s not a very good sun hat either. I’m keeping it because it’s a cute hat and I’m hoping it will stretch out a little to fit my head better after a while. I’ll wear a bigger hat for the sun though.

And case is great for travel.

Everything thing I wanted

This is a great hat. But the listing say it's made of straw, and the reality is that it's 60% polyester and 40% paper. So it's not going to be good on hot days. I'm quite disappointed that the description is so misleading. The hat is beautifully made but it's NOT straw, and therefore it's not going to be good on hot days, which is why I bought it. Not sure whether I'll keep it or not. The description needs to be more transparent and honest about materials.

This sadly was not as described. I measured my head and confirmed that their sizing description would fit my head and that the strings could adjust the size also. Not true. Hat too small to start and there were not strings option to keep the hat on if necessary. Poor quality. arrived crushed.

Just got the hat now. It’s a chic looking hat and it would be the only reason for buying this hat. The brim is too narrow to provide sun protection.The description has a tie inside for adjusting the head circumference. Mine only came with a short string with Velcro and 2 tapes (see the photo attached). You can see the cheap design of the short string with Velcro is expected to be broken anytime soon. I have NO IDEAS where the tapes should be placed because it comes with NO INSTRUCTION.You can also see a label on the picture states “Due to its hademade crafts, each hat is unique. Any possible imprecation has to be considered as a typical feature and not a fault.” Yup! They protect themselves well! Buyer beware!!
