My daughter picked this out for a ash memorial holder for her older brother who loved guns. When I received this the engraving is beautifully done and was just as described.

I purchased this for my mom when she lost her mother. Now she can carry a little of her everywhere she goes.

I wanted something small for my adult children for their Grandma's ashes. The funeral home cost was unbelievably expensive, like $100 plus. These were extremely affordable and very nice looking! Easy to fill! So glad I ordered them!

First off this does not come with a chain. So make sure this is what you want when you buy it. Its more of a key chain piece for with your car keys. Could be used with a heavy duty chain but has some weight to it so don't go for anything thin or fragile if you.Did not come with any instructions. Mine arrived late (which I can look past somewhat) but had it for 3 days before figured out how to open the dang thing without resorting to hand tools which I feared will mar the very clean finish.Basically take the d ring that is welded to the back and twist. i had resisted doing this because it does not look very solid and I was afraid I would snap the d ring off at the base.All that out of the way.......this is still a nice piece. It comes clean, the script is etched in deeply so should not fade for years to come. The brushing is well done and the unit is heavy, with a good seal.Be sure to use a little glue along the threads before resealing (many states require this of urns and urn devices).

The piece is a good weight and seals nicely.
