Well made nice finish and fit.
The media could not be loaded. These are well-made and really nice fit and finish, one caution is that it is always very important to have backing in the wall when installing grab bars. Either make sure that you’re hitting studs on each connection or that you’ve put backing behind the sheet rock and it is firmly secured before installing grab bars that you’re going to be hanging on for stability.. using only wall anchors like plastic or otherwise, in drywall is foolish and risky at best. Bite the bullet cost wise and have backing blocking, 2 X 6 is much better than just 2 X 4, between the wall studs installed for proper needed strength of support.

Not Slippery!
If you want safety, go for knurled.

Great grab bars
As advertised. Excellent finish with an extended grip control on the bar.

The mounting distance is 16"
The mounting distance is 16", allowing you to hit 16" on center studs horizontally. Our application is in a separate small room just for a toilet in the master bathroom. These bars are mounted on thewalls horizontally on either side of the toilet, allowing someone to use the bars to lower easily on, and easily raise up off the toilet. We did use longer mounting screws to get a better bite into the studs. The knurled surface isn't too rough on your hands. Some other brands of 16" bars only measure 14-15" mounting distance and only one end will hit a stud and expect you to mount into drywall on the other end. Then they say it is warranted for weight only if mounted into studs on both ends. So look for the details of other brands if mounting horizontally.

Wonderful quality
I ordered two of these bars for each of our bathrooms, we had them installed and my husband loves them, he is 79 and has trouble standing up.

Fantastic
I resisted these for too long. With recent surgery and balance issues I had to put these in.I am pleased and gives me peace of mind. The subtle texture is really good too.
