Easy to use. Was the lowest cost method I could find to measure radon gas level in our basement.

I've read some of the negative reviews about this product, but my experience was the opposite. The directions were easy to follow, the kit was simple and easy to use, and the turnaround time was swift. One does, however, need to have faith in the accuracy of Alpha Energy Labs. Although they're not accredited by the Better Business Bureau, they do have an A+ rating, and the BBB hasn't received any complaints. I am a satisfied customer.

Followed instructions as to placement and amount of time exposed to interior air of home. Mailed back but the reply system wasn’t overly clear and ultimately the results just made a reference to “small amounts detected over a 48 hour period.” I guess now I Google to try to figure out what that means.

It arrived, I followed the directions, sent it in, and was emailed results. Easy, but I can only assume the results were accurate since I am not a lab person.

Let me first start out by saying this review is, in no way, a reflection on Amazon. They did their part to send me the test kit quickly.That said, I'm usually very careful about buying stuff online. I read customer reviews ad nauseum. However, this time I had not, because we had used this same kit with no problems about 10 years ago for another residence, so I felt confident this was the one to choose... I was wrong.Their customer [non] service is... shall we say: "lacking"? (And that is about the nicest way I can put it). My ongoing saga of BS is as follows:I sent my kit in 6/21/22--over a month ago. I was very careful to fill out the paperwork, register start and stop times online, etc. They sent me back (2 weeks later) a blank pdf file telling me I neglected to fill in the start/stop time. So I filled it in electronically and sent it a second time. A week later, they sent me another blank pdf file claiming I didn't fill it in. The 3rd time I printed out their pdf file, took a picture of the filled out paperwork, and emailed it before sending it a fourth time via snail mail.Out of curiousity, I read several reviews online... all claiming the same thing. No results, bad one star reviews, runaround, etc --so I can now see that I'm not the only one that had this "experience".To say that I am angry is an understatement at best. I cannot help but to think of all these people suffering from radon exposure while Apha Energy Labs yanks their chains.If I don't get my results soon, I am escalating this and reporting them for fraud.

All of the places where the web address is printed in the instructions, it is printed in a shade of yellow (on a white background) that makes it impossible to read. As a user, I really struggled to read that address in order to be able to registrer the product.NOTE: You have to pay for shipping separately, and there is a time sensitive window to get it back to the lab, so it's pricey.

This product was easy to use and easy to register online. Received text alerts to remind me to stop the radon test and also when the package was received at the lab. Received radon test results within a couple of hours the same day test was received by lab. Report was very detailed and easy to understand. Will definitely be buying this product again when time to do another test. Thank you! Deserves more than 5 ⭐️
