Great product at a great price. We adopted a new dog and my 55 lb labradoodle (who used to graze) started gulping down her food because our new pup a 23 lb cock a poo would eat his food quickly and then run to eat hers. She started to burp a lot from eating so quickly. After taking her to the vet and ruling out any health issues (we suspected all the burping was from eating so quickly all of the time but just in case). These bowls slow both of the dogs down in a good way. What took 1 minute now takes maybe 5 minutes. Doodle eats about 1.5-2 cups and cockapoo 1/2 cup holds both amounts well. (Pic is of it holding 2 cups of Bil Jac picky no more) No big issues, I was worried about their noses etc. Easy to rinse clean (we feed dry kibble) or top rack dishes safe. The only small issue is that there are small black “rubberized” plastic strips on bottom to “help” from sliding but they are not very effective. A rubberized mat could help if your dog requires it. Mine are close to a wall so we don’t have an issue. Also many other slow feeders that are pricier slide around too. I’m sure you could find one with better grip if necessary or that fits in a stand, but def not at this price. This price is hands down the best I could find in slow feeding dishes. Very happy with this purchase.

These bowls work exactly as expected. My rottie was shoveling her food down so fast I don’t think she even chewed anything. The Doodle was not far behind her either. With them being Giant/Large breed dogs I have always been concerned about bloat and these bowls help with that a lot. They also fit perfectly in my raised feeders. Honestly the only thing that would make these better is if they were made of food grade stainless steel rather than food grade plastics but still they work really really well.

My dog likes to inhale his food literally in 60 seconds 2 cups can be gone. This made him slow down and have to get the food out of the little crevices so I'm not as worried about a bloat as before.

I have a 7 month old Rottweiler, he loves his food, too much. This really slows him down. I have it in his elevated bowl holder. Works amazing. I definitely recommend.

It fits into my dogs bowl perfecting on top. My boy is a bit stubborn so it takes him sometime to try to eat through the little maze lol. I really like that it has that water resistant feature but a bit hard to wash by hand unless you are patient or else just use the dish washer

My parents recently adopted a large chow hound from the pound and my little feed demon introduced them to the slow feeder. With their big boy this was a PERFECT fit for their raised bowl station, and even better: I matched! They are so happy to see him forced to actually taste his food now

This made a big difference in the speed at which our dog eats. Before he would eat so fast he would choke on he food. Now it takes him longer than our other dog who is a slow eater. Can be hard to clean if you don’t have a dishwasher.

I have a 100+ lb mastiff mix who was a shelter puppy and has major food issues. He can empty a regular food bowl in what seems like seconds. While I wouldn't say this bowl creates any major obstacles, or slows him down a lot, it does slow him down enough that I'm not constantly stressing that he's eating much too fast.It fits well in my elevated feeder, and seems to be made of sturdy material. I only wish it were deeper so he had to work harder to get the food out.
