Wren was fire and Lex was ice cold… seeing them come together and realize they were made for each other was perfect. I absolutely love how strong and powerful Wren is, she is a fighter and doesn’t back down. Lex is drawn to Wren in a way that completely takes him by surprise, but he doesn’t fight it and I love that. These two the the perfect most explosive combination and the sass is chiefs 💋.❗️This does end on a cliff hanger❗️POV: Duel 🧑👩🌶 starts at about 35%✨She’ll look even better when she is strapped to a bed, legs spread, curls wild around her face, at mercy to me, the f***ing king.✨

Wow! My first Ria Wilde book & it was everything I could’ve hoped for and more.Wren & Lex are just perfection. I love me some Lex, but I got me a girl crush on Wren! Ria has made her FMC independent, strong, and fierce. A Queen made to rule next to a King… and I love that in a FMC!The story line is amazing and keeps you guessing and wanting more, and that cliffhanger… yikes! Lol. Makes you go directly Into book 2!! Well done Ria!!!! Y’all go read this now!

I loved that although they were enemies - that they were realistic in the fact that she craved his darkness and he was drawn to her untamed nature. It ticked off all my boxes. Kidnapping, forced proximity, dub-con as well as that darkness we crave. I loved this story and can’t wait for book two. FYI. The cliffhanger is a doozy.

This debut by Ria is intense, hot, action packed and not what I was expecting - I loved it and am left begging for the next book (there is a cliffhanger).Wren is one of helluva heroine - this young woman is a fighter that can hold her own, isn’t afraid to take chances, and is very smart. I adore her smart replies and fierce spirit.Lex is the monster that everyone fears - he is ruthless, smart, and not afraid to go to great lengths to keep his crown on tight. When it comes to Wren, he finds his softer side that he though he lost long ago.I enjoyed seeing how these two tore down each other’s defenses - all the while the plot gets thicker. The twists are insane and the ending was definitely a jaw-dropper of the year. Ria has me in her grip as I am on board for this intense series. I can’t wait to see what is to come for Lex and Wren in this intense series.

REAL exciting i meant. Its the kind that have you cover your grin while in public and sweat when it’s tense :) recommended!!

This might be a good story but I wouldn’t know, I only made it to 20% before giving up because the writing just made it unreadable for me. It’s constantly changing between past and present tense, even within the same sentence at times. There’s often a lack of punctuation which leads to frequent misunderstanding of the meaning and then having to re-read to get what she’s trying to say. Sometimes the sentences are too short and choppy and the meaning is unclear. Or they’re too long and garbled and, again, the meaning is unclear.The characters were also clichéd and lacked any real depth or originality. Or at least for so far as I read.The whole style is disjointed and so poorly written that I just couldn’t force myself to keep reading it any longer.It’s a shame because I got the feeling that the story might actually be quite good and something I’d have liked if I’d been able to get into it. I can normally put it with minor mistakes but this was just too much.

I dont even know where to begin with this book I started reading it four hours ago and havent put it down. This book is beyond incredible. I love the characters Wren and Lex are amazing their chemistry is sizzling. I dont want to give anything away so I wont say more other than this is a must read. I can't believe how it was left, and I can't believe I have to wait to find out what happens.

Absolutely love the characters and the story. Love how wren stands up and has sass and don't just go with what she is told to do. I loved how alpha and doment lex is as well. Loved the other characters to and have literally downloaded the second book to start. Absolutely loved reading from Ria definitely will be reading more. Don't read reviews just read the book. A hell of a ride, super sexy and hot. Super sass and alpha and what a world to disappear off to. Loved it now I am starting the second one straight away lol

Ok I loved this, finished in 2 sitting as I couldn’t put it down! Loved Lex and his possessive ways, always love a mafia man 🔥 I also loved how strong wren was, love a FMC that stands up for herself. You just know they would be incredible together. The ending had me like WHAT. Diving straight into the next.

So I read this book to continue the second one as ARC read and thank you.The story of Lex and Wren. Bad ass heroin and dangerous man seeking revenge.The story is beautifully written, I absolutely love the charters and the plot.This story is full of revenge, hate, passion and love. Deffinetly gonna make it to my shelf.
