I looked for a funnel to put cinnamon and sugar into a shaker. After a couple of attempts, I failed to match the size of shaker I wanted to fill. I finally ordered a bigger shaker. Those funnels will come in handy for other things.

But I really don’t know. It seems a little thin and lightweight to me, but there really is no way for me to tell. My biggest worry is that it’s aluminum or some non-food safe metal. There are even bubbles showing imperfections in the metal on the smaller one. It’s not like amazon is vetting the marketing language on these listings, you really have to put all your trust in the seller that they aren’t lying. The part that goes into the jars is too short IMO. I’d prefer the one inch that I’m used to on the plastic ones because I’m always looking to fill my jars to that one inch headspace when canning. They also could have fit in my jars more snug than they do, they are quite loose. So I’m going to keep these, and use for cold packaging, but the tallow I just made is so scalding hot I’m too nervous to send it through not knowing if this metal really is food grade stainless steel. Last thing I want to do is poison my family with toxic cooking fat. I’m going to try and find another one that I know for sure is stainless steel and compare the weight of them. And keep in mind, it really might be what the listing says, I’m just personally not comfortable based on how this feels in my hands, that it is in fact, stainless steel. If this doesn’t bother you, there really is nothing else wrong with them. Which is why I gave 3 stars. If I knew for sure it was SS, I would give it 4 since the fit is still a little small, but if I knew for a fact it was not SS, I would give it only 1 star.

I especially like the removable filter screens.

These funnels are extremely well-built and are built like a tank they will last forever.

Easy to use

Nice funnels, no issues with quality contol. The strainers are a nice addition. Stamped 304, looks like quality stainless steel.

They work for me!But then again it's a simple tool not much can go wrong with them.
