Lords, Love, and Stolen Kisses (Book 5) (Large Print): Clean Historical Regency Romance (A Lady Angelica Landerbelt Mystery)

This was a very sweet novella about Lord Sutcliffe and Miss Burton. Miss Burton feels the heavy burden of bearing a scar on her face which, in her eyes, reduces her chances to find a husband. Lord Sutcliffe is a rake through and through and he enjoys his lifestyle. But there is something about Miss Burton...Since this was a very short story I was worried that the brevity would make for a less than satisfying ending. I was wrong. Lord Sutcliffe emphatically proves his love for Miss Burton with satisfying clarity.

I like stories with smart women and how they win the loves of their life. You have a young girl who is being pursued by an evil man. She didn’t find a widow lady who befriends her and together they find her perfect love.

This was a very refreshing read. The tension over helping an Earl realize his past nature to become someone better for love was great. We watched a woman learn to love and trust with the help of another woman who cared.

Why, oh why, do rakes have to be so charming? And so smooth speaking? Glad they can change. And glad the women can look past their previous actions. Great read.
