Terry and Velcro are never a good combination. However, Velcro is practical for a piece of clothing that needs to fasten in a variety of closure positions. I bought this wrap in the smaller size. However, the span from those who wear a "small" (6-8) and medium (10-12) is not amenable to a single setting on the Velcro. If you move the Velcro so that the two pieces aren't totally overlapping, what hangs off each end snares the terry. Before long, you have a lot of loose threads. In addition, if the terry accidentally touches the cloth (say, on the outside), it leaves its mark by pulling threads in a visible place. I do like this wrap; it's practical and made of a thick terry cloth. It would just be nicer if the manufacturer could afford the cost of making one wrap for sizes 6-8 and another for sizes 10-12.

Glad that I chose this wrap. It is Turkish Towel material and made in Turkey. A very nice quality product. The Velcro closure 1 inch wide and 10 inches long. Be sure to wash it with the Velcro closed so that it does not snag the term cloth lopes and the Velcro isn't covered in threads. I got the large. I am 5feet 9inches 165 pounds. The wrap is 30 inches long and fits me well. It does have a pocket that really comes in handy. I am very pleased with my purchase and am getting a 2nd wrap. BTW I bought purple and it has not faded.

per amazon, 4 stars indicate "i like it" and 5 stars indicate "i love it" - i like it! but its a bit too heavy & hot for me to love it.. (i live in the tropics) .. although i would buy it again because of its natural cotton fabric! and because it is good quality & well-made .. (and a wonderful, rich color: i got it in purple) .. plus is easy to launder (be sure to close the velcro tabs when washing). and! thank you to the company for the *very good customer service*.

Perfect length, color, and fit. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because the loop on the back that allows you to hang it on a door hanger broke the first week I used it. I can sew it back on, but disappointed it happened.

I like the heavy weight of this shower wrap, the light ones feel cheap. Other reviews are correct, the Velcro does catch and snag the towel. I'm just careful when taking it on and off to minimize that issue. It Is somewhat small though (I wear a large t-shirt) around the fastening. You have plenty of room to tighten and loosen but if you don't fasten the entirety of the Velcro, it eats up the band.

Purchased this because it had good reviews in terms of materials, which I totally agree. However, the fabric is so good, it is bit thick and thereefore heavy, and tends to slip down on me even when fastened securely which is a bit surprising given I am "well endowed" on top. Wishing I had got a version with shoulder straps like my old one. If you are flat chested I would I think twice!

I really like this towel wrap, but I've washed it twice and now one of the edges is starting to fray. Great product, just need to reinforce the edge??

Overall, I really like the feel and convenience of the item. It's easy. I usually wear a large in clothing however, the fit of the large is a bit too large and it would have been better with a medium...I can still use it with ease and love it.
