I wanted battery operated train and so as described but this train is a push manual train. So I have a very unhappy child.

Good train overall. Does struggle going up hills and bridges abit

This set arrived earlier than expected-good. Sadly the engine does not work which is very unfortunate. I’m sure my grandson would have loved this set. Fortunately he’s not seen it yet- so returning it as expensive for push train. Pity as it looks great.

Looks a little fragile but is in fact quite sturdy. Train goes quite fast, faster than Brio battery train. Two batteries required compared to one battery for Brio so this may be the reason. My grandson adores the helicopter on the train and plays for ages with the whole set. Good value for money.

Was hoping it was battery powered. The beating from my 2 & 3 Yr nephews, the train & carriage & men, did well, but sound and light stopped working. It is lovely looking!

Not as described, “powerful engine train, battery operated action”. It’s a push engine which makes a noise. Avoid, poor value for money.

Incomplete order and parts damaged.Very disappointed is an understatement considering the price!

the magnet from the end of the train came out, leaving an exposed sharp metal pin but even more concerningly exposing a loose magnet which could easily be swallowed by a child. As expensive as Brio so would recommend sticking to that brand in preference.
