The Lost Treasure of King Juba: The Evidence of Africans in America before Columbus

GOOD READ
This book was a good read, altho I already knew about ancient ppl. coming across the Ethiopian Ocean,- viz-( Atlantic Ocean) before this book. However, I didn't no about King Juba II & that he came across here. I find this book very interesting stuff. It also proves that main-streamed archaeologists, historians, ethnologist and all the other so-called experts have been hiding the truth from the masses, especially Americans. Something personal: My Father told me something when I was about 15 or16 yrs. old; he said if you want to no about your History & where you originated from, always study the wht. mans history & investigate everything that he (wht. man) denies. I found that to be the geeatest gift my Father could have ever given me.

Wonderful piece of material
I have been studying migration and chronological history. This book filled in a very important part of history that i had been missing. It was great reading and a bit colorful too. It really helped me understand how the Romans kept people moving about the world. I really liked the part about how people found America as a safe haven from oppression for thousands of years.

Interested in a good Story
The Lost Treasure of King Juba is both history and narrative combined to provide the feel of reading a novel. This is an excellent read, especially for those interested in ancient endeavors that have a flair of multiculturalism that is astounding.

Couldn't Put it Down
I love ancient history & have read several of Frank Joseph's books. This one was a compelling mystery that I couldn't put down. Well- illustrated, my only complaint is that many of the b&w photos should have been electronically lightened before their inclusion in the book. Most of the detail on the carved black stones doesn't show up well enough to be appreciated.PS - The moral of this story is: If you find a treasure, KEEP YOUR BIG MOUTH SHUT!!!

Where is the evidence?
The writer does a fine job of explaining what happened to the children of Cleopatra as in the ruler of Egypt who successfully seduced Julius Caesar and Mark Antony, bearing children who were abandoned at her suicide. The writing could have better established the existence of King Juba I, but it was nice to have the writer say such wonderful things about King Juba II who really lived the Roman ideal. The information about the cave in Illinois was well presented, but there is just a huge gap between the early narrative and the contents of the cave which should be there if the writer planned to really link the Illinois cave contents to early Roman era immigrants fleeing North Africa. It is also not entirely honest to call these immigrants "Africans", especially when the many figures in the book are of Romans.
