Curepedia: An immersive and beautifully designed A-Z biography of The Cure

This book is packed full of interesting info & as a 30+ year fan (a newbie, then) I'm learning lots of 'new' things. It's great to dip into and hard to put down once picked up. Collectors of Cure things will have to have it - but are bound to enjoy it too.

Beautifully presented and painstakingly detailed, this is a real treasure.A ten minute dip or a few hours deep dive , Simon Price has done the Cure justice with Curepedia.It affirms the genius of Robert Smith and the trials, tribulations and triumphs of his exceptional band.It is frequently funny, often poignant and never dull.Like the band.

Love the red cover and tint and oh my talk about comprehensive - still making through it, flicking back and forth, and finding out how stuff I didn’t know and loving that I am!Now, if only someone did something like this for my other favourite act… Prince ☮️

I like the Cure without being a true devotee but this is still great and well worth a look for any music fan. Only missing out on 5* because of the lack of any photos. Inexplicable. Even single and albums covers would have been fine.

Just a lovely read. Entertaining, informative, and great to "dip into" (as people say).

Being a mad keen Cocteau Twins from the get go, I was always appreciative of The Cures music during the 80’s especially the commercial material…however during the Pandemic I started listening to everything to they ever produced and feel deeply, hopelessly in love with all the non commercial material…got to see them at Wembley Arena soon after and bought to essential 2 concert BluRay of Hyde Park and CUREATION which is sublime, a Band at the height of its powers…this book has been utterly fascinating and a complete joy, no CURE fan should be without it…

When they say everything they mean everything. It’s all in this book. Get reading glasses. You’re going to need them. But it’s a great book for Cure fans.

This book is such a fun read! Very well made. I'm still a new Cure fan (I became one approx. 10 months ago) and I've already learned a lot of new things. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat!

C'est un livre ... et donc c'est à lire .... Pas d'illustration, que de la lecture .... mais en tant que FAN, à posséder :)

Un bel ouvrage ne mérite-t-il pas un minimum d'attention, de soin, peut-être que vos bénéfices engendrés ne permettent pas de prendre ce temps de la délicatesse, mais ne vous inquiétez pas, nous sommes là pour vous aider et, cela nous semble pourtant bien compatible ;) Par exemple : engagez un personnel seulement quelques heures par semaine (4 ou 5 maximum) qui reçoit un salaire en relation directe avec vos résultats et qui n'a aucune pression mais une infinie reconnaissance, et vous verrez, l'esprit rejoindra la matière et le livre commandé sera livré dans un écrin adéquat ;)
