Good value but the design needs some improvements...
A few recommendations to the manufacturer:The knob on the grinding handle needs to be redesigned. My knuckles and finger tips grate against the handle during each turn. I can palm the knob but it's annoying and tires out your hands. The body of the grinder could use some grip/rubber strips. I usually grip it using a rubber jar opener. It's not needed but it makes the grinding easier on your hands since you don't need to grip as tightly, especially when you are half-awake at 0-dark-30.The collector at the bottom needs a tighter fit to the grinding body. Mine is already pretty loose and I've only used it for a month...BTW, when I bought this, I wondered how long it takes to grind... Well, two cups of coffee - about 0.75 oz of beans - take me about 3 minutes of constant grinding. The mechanism is not difficult but its not easy either. The top of the mill does connect easily to a power drill and I've used it this way a few times but I stick with the manual grinding. I didn't see a significant reduction in amount of time with the drill (including the connecting and disconnecting) to the manual process.

Good portable coffee grinder.
This is a great portable coffee grinder. It does not give a consistent grind as some more expensive mills do, but it does a very good job for the price ($12). I wouldn't use this every day, though. If you're looking for an every day grinder, an electric blade grinder will grind as consistently and way faster for a few extra bucks.I did see other grinders that look exactly the same as this one under different brand names for up to $25 on Amazon. It is possible that they are not the same, but I would NOT pay $25 for this.

It was good - it was loud
I've had an electric grinder for years. It was good - it was loud. It was what it was. I bought this for my wife on a whim since she is a serious coffee lover and we love a good french press coffee. I am proud of that whim. Best whim ever. This coffee grinder takes a little time and a little muscle, but the time it takes to perfectly grind enough coffee is about the time it takes for the kettle to boil. The grind is perfect every time. If you're on the fence, go ahead, you're worth it.

Works as described
I like that this manual coffee grinder is very similar to my previous one. Works great and makes my coffee taste perfect. Thanks for making this available on Amazon.com

Decent when not broken.
This grinder is good when it's not broken. I've had it for about four months now and I've already had to replace a part near the burr and just a couple days ago the handle broke. The grind is even and consistent. This would be the perfect grinder if it didn't break all the time.

I'm very happy with it and it's held up pretty well so ...
Wife picked this one up for me a few months back, I'm very happy with it and it's held up pretty well so far. No breaks or issues, and the adjust-ability of it helps alot when I'm making cold press vs hot.

Stopped working after a few days
Arrived on Monday; worked OK Tuesday through Friday; quit grinding on Saturday. When I buy something like this, I expect more than 4 or 5 uses before it wears out. This time, I was disappointed.

This is a pretty nifty coffee grinder
This is a pretty nifty coffee grinder. Definitely a good item to take on the go or for a nice camp out. However, still pretty awesome to use at in general. Possibly think about the bottom canister twisting on and off rather than just pulling it right off? It kind of starts to slip off as your cranking. Otherwise, awesome grinder and worth the buy.
