Allergy Relief for Itchy Dogs - with Turmeric, Omega-3, Quercetin and Bromelain - 60 Soft Chews

Our poor pup was reacting to changes in her food made by its manufacturer. We tried shots, topical ointments and specialized shampoos for her hot spots and constant itchiness - all to no avail. She was miserable and it broke our hearts watching her scratch and suffer to the point that she started losing her fur at an alarming rate! Just as we were about to break our piggy bank to shell out major $$ for the Royal Canin brand I came across Fitapet on Amazon, decided to give it a shot and have been so pleased with the results!!! Our lil' fur-baby no longer itches and scratches uncontrollably, her fur is noticeably softer and she's so much happier!!! Please don't change a thing with this formula -- it's perfect (and it works) the way it is!

My dogs wont eat it. Mixing it into their food has been an issue too because they dont like the taste. It turns to dust and doesn’t have a good solid composure.

My poor bulldog has had allergies for the last couple of years, scratching and digging at himself constantly! We’ve been to our vet on multiple occasions with no avail other than upping his Benedryl dose! (I’ve also had him on a limited ingredient diet) I was always told his allergies weren’t severe enough for testing! That that was for dogs with hotspots and hair loss etc. That’s when I decided to look to natural remedies...Local honey, apple cider vinegar in his water, and various other chews. About a year ago not only was he itching and digging STILL, but he now started getting rusty colored staining around his eyes , face and under his chin. Also his belly which was once pink and soft was now broken out into hives! Even the color of his coat was no longer a bright white but a dingy yellowy white..The first picture is what he looked like when it was at its worst before I started him on these chews...... miserable!I’m not sure what it was that made me stumble across these but omg am I glad I did!!! These chews have completely TRANSFORMED my lil guy! The after picture is him after being on these for a month! His face is back to the bright white it was, even his fur is whiter! It’s no longer a dingy stained white! No more rust around his eyes and chin! And his soft pink belly meat is back to normal! Does he still have issues here and there? YES! I’m not saying they completely cured him, BUT I no longer give him benedryl, acv or honey (I stopped all these to see if it really was the chews) and he looks better than he has in a couple years! He still has itchy spots here and there but nothing like it was! Before these he was digging all day long! Now he only scratches a couple times a day and is white and bright! I’m so glad to have my happy healthy guy back!If you have an allergic dog do them a favor and try these out! You won’t regret it and your dog will love you for it!UPDATE:I have since started my dog on apoquel and stopped giving these throughout the winter bc as these subsided the rustiness and “some” itching, he was still itching daily...HOWEVER, as soon as spring hit the rustiness came back and surprisingly the $70/month apoquel didn’t help it! Even with upping his dose to two a day (which btw is $140/month 😬)! So we’ve went back to these chews and WITHIN ONE WEEK his rustiness is nearly gone! If you have a white dog with rustiness around the eyes and chin I can’t sing this products praises enough!

Unfortunately this did not work for my 2 small dogs (mini dachshunds). 1 is 12 lbs and one is 11 lbs. I gave them each 2 a day (one in the morning and one in the evening). We just finished the whole bag and there has been no difference in their itchiness (seasonal allergies) - if anything they have gotten worse. Really wanted a more natural product to work - it did not for us.

I have a 75 lbs Black Lab and she has very bad allergies in the summer. I figured I'd try these and see if they would help her with the itching skin and watering eyes. I was extremely surprised and happy that it actually has helped her. Took about 2 days before really noticing a difference, but after that I realized that her eyes weren't gumming up and she seemed to be resting so much better. She still scratches a little but it's diminished by probably 95%. I started the first few days giving her the recommended dosage of 6 pills a day. Three in the morning and 3 at night. She eats them just like a treat and seems to love the taste. This week I started just giving her 2-3 tablets a day now that it's in her system and it seems to be keeping her allergies at bay. If you have to give 6 a day it can get a little bit expensive since one bag would only last 10 days. As long as I can give her a few a day and she seems comfortable I'll continue to do the reduced dose. So far I'm very happy with this purchase. She's on her 3rd week now and like I said she's resting so much better and not driving herself or me crazy with all the scratching. I would recommend these if your dog is having similar issues.

My dog eats then right up! He has severe allergies and even on 3 zyrtecs a day (vet approves) and then changed to 2 Benadryl 3x a day, with only slightly more relief. His skin was so red and irritated and he was always chewing himself to death to him having scabs several places on his body from it....it took about 5 days to see a significant difference, so it had to build up in system. But since adding this in, his skin has turned back to normal and while still itchy sometimes, it is 95% better! I don’t know how much it would help on it’s own, but nothing was working on it’s own for my poor big boy.My dog is 75-80lbs and started off at the 6 a day but after his skin returned to normal, took a trial at just 4 a day, and since it’s been in his system, just four a day seems to maintain him! I missed a dose though (I give half mornin half night) and you could tell he was more itchy, so it definitely works if you are consistent. It MAY need additional help, depending on how bad the dogs seasonal allergies are. I think if he wasn’t so severe, this product would be enough but I cannot say for sure. I have heard nothing but good things about turmeric for allergies, which is why I chose this product over some others I looked into.
