AMPERSAND SHOPS 8-Ft. / 9-Ft. 8-Rib Outdoor Patio Umbrella Solar-Powered LED String Lights (Warm White)

Have 3 sets of these. They are good. Not a ton of light but good enough to see what you are eating at night. Only one issue is that the wire junctions where the strands meet at the top will break and you'll loose that strand. This is from raising and lowering the umbrella and, if the strand dose not slide a bit on the rib or you are not very careful, it can stretch the wire until it breaks internally (same thing happens to earbuds all the time from bending). I was able to re-splice it but I have a strand that requires some wiggling to come on (only on one of the three sets I have and it's on the unbrella that goes up and down the most). Also lost one bulb that came out of it's casing but I think that was my fault because I accidentally pressed hard on in when putting on the zip tie. The clamps that come with the set do not fit all umbrella ribs so I had to use zip ties on the all-wood umbrellas. The solar panel that just sits 24/7 in rain and shine has lasted with the same battery now up to 3 years.

Love it! Please note that you will need to get creative with the solar power disc if you have an offset cantilever umbrella which is suspended from the top and not a traditional umbrella with a center post and stand. I used industrial Velcro to attach the disc to the inside post. During the day I remove the disc so it is exposed to sunlight and can recharge. At night I attached the disc to the Velcro on the pole and plug in the cord to the lights! Works like a charm!

These look amazing and are a perfect fit for for my 10' umbrella. They look really great at night. If you are looking for a light source these will not be bright enough. If you are looking to add a decorative touch for your patio these are perfect. It took me about an hour to put them on and it was really easy

I bought this because some reviewers said it wasn't really bright. That was just what I wanted and I wasn't disappointed. It installed easily, fit perfectly and gives me just the romantic glow I wanted for my evening deck sitting. Super product! The threaded part on the battery pack that was supposed to screw into where the finial of the umbrella goes was not the right size for mine, so I just zip tied it around the top and it has worked great. It has a small screw and my umbrella receiver has a large opening. There is probably an adapter available but the zip tie did the trick.

The solar panel doesn’t fit all umbrellas but I easily enough was able to drill a hole thru the existing umbrella cap and make it work that’s why I gave installation 3 starsLighting is dim but perfect for what I wanted ..just ambianceWas a bonus to find that it does have an on off switch that hangs so easy to turn on & offOverall very happy & planning on ordering another set for my other umbrella

This item for our pillow perfect umbrella amazingly well. It just took a few minutes to clip the lights on and attach the solar top. Not super bright, but bright enough to see faces across the table and play games. I couldn't be more pleased!

Easy to install once you get the hang of the clips, perfect lighting, not to bright, but just right for what we wanted. Each strand is numbered, which came in handy. Looks like the umbrella came with lights already, very satisfied with this purchase.

I love this idea, unfortunately, I didn't look at my umbrella closely enough to make sure that the solar base and panel would work properly. My cantilever umbrella has the pole on top of the center of the umbrella, so the base and panel had nowhere to sit. Rather than return the item, I gave it to my daughter. When she has installed, I'll post an update.
