Aqua Natural Oolitic Aragonite 20lb Aquarium Sand for reef, saltwater and marine tanks and aquariums

This is the top shelf of sand on the market today... as always, you get what you pay for. A thorough rinsing is 100% necessary. Just put the sand in a clean 5 gallon bucket, fill it with water and leave the water on so it continuously overflows until all the dust pours out and the water starts clearing up. The grains of this oolitic sand are ultra fine, but they are also ultra dense, and the density plays a huge role in helping it stay in place when put up against power heads, wavemakers, and gravel vacuums. It’s a bright white color that reflects an amazing amount of light. Spend the money on this high quality stuff...you will not regret it.*I use this sand in an mbuna African cichlid tank, and it has done a great job maintaining a high PH through the utilization of aragonite.

Terrible to deal with. No amount of rinsing would get the sand clean. After several hours of rinsing I realized this was a futile effort. Placed in tank anyways but full of regret for doing so. I will never buy this brand again!

I bought 1 20lb.... inside the box there was 2 bags each 20lb. I think you sent 2 by mistake, I only bought 1
