It's a very high-quality protein with great taste and blends very well. The other ones I tried before had a very strong smell of urea and did not bend well. It also left a lot of hard-to-clean residue on my blender bottle. I highly recommend this product. It's organic and the peas are grown in the US.

I chose a low rating. I’ve been trying to reach the company. I called them four times. I sent three Messages on their website. It is important to know if their product is heavymetal tested? There is nothing indicating on their packaging that carries, the Clean Label Act.” Does NOT state 3rd party tested for heavy metals. Talks only about heavy metals in pea protein from China which they do not use. Their peas are grown in the USA. Mocu needs to state heavy metal testing on their packaging. I am very concerned and especially if they don’t get back to me.Here is what they say.“MOCU Pea Protein Powder is made from organic yellow field peas grown in the USA. Most pea proteins from China use low quality peas that contain high levels of heavy metals, even the organic ones. We went above and beyond to provide a pea protein that is grown right here in the USA using the highest quality peas that undergo limited processing to offer you a pure and clean product that you can feel good about consuming. Our process produces a protein that has a bland taste that is perfect for use in drinks and recipes due to its high functionality, solubility and dispersibility.”Statement is good but DOES NOT indicate that heavy metal testing is fine. No 3rd party testing. No proven Clean Label Act on their product!

This protein is not as potent as other pea proteins I've tried. It's organic and tested for heavy metals which are found in many other brands. I mostly use it in smoothies and it blends very well.

Finished my first 3lb bag of Get Chia/Mocu Organic Pea Protein. It is the only one that absorbs water compared with four or five other brands I tried. As a result the blended product is much smoother and less gritty. I combine it with coconut flour for added fiber; the mixture has a consistency ranging from cookie dough to pancake batter depending on how much water is added. It works well with fruit, vanilla, cocoa, or just a little sweetener. I also appreciate that this organic pea protein is grown and packaged in the USA and relatively affordable compared to other brands.

I've tried other pea proteins and they always tasted like Play-Doh. I wasn't really optimistic about trying another one. The tastes on this is very neutral. it could easily substitute for almond milk in a smoothie (with way more protein). It blended well in my smoothie and I'd definitely buy this again. I now wish they made this is 5 or 10 lb bags!No compensation was given for this review.

The first time I ordered this product it was great. It smelled and tasted mildly sweet and "beany."The second time I ordered it in Dec 2023, the product smelled bitter/sour and when I took a tiny taste - to me it tasted like soap.The product was not eligible for a refund so I submitted a message to the seller through Amazon, but never heard back from the seller. I did get an auto reply email from Amazon a few days later saying something about how they hope the online resources meet all my needs. I then emailed the company directly at [email protected] (from the packing slip). Its now 5 days later and I haven't received a response which according to their website would be within 48 hours.I then did a chat through Amazon regarding a request for a refund and also to express my concern at, in my experience, increasing incidences of rancid products being sold through Amazon. So, to make a positive ending to this tale...since Amazon considers me "a loyal and valuable customer" they would refund me the cost of this product.

I was looking for a pea protein that wasn't high in heavy metals or wasn’t grown in China. The MOCU brand is grown in the USA, so far this is the only one that I have found that is only grown right here in the USA. Plus I like the fact that they package their products in small batches. It blends very well for smoothies or adding to my morning oatmeal.

Love this protein so far. Mixes well and tastes great.
