Good But A Bit Misleading
This was definitely a curiosity to me, and like others, I had pretty low expectations. A microwaved cake in a mug that is low carb? It's a somewhat odd concept. After trying a couple of different types of these (the cinnamon and the chocolate), I kinda like it, but I feel like the packaging and marketing is pretty misleading. When you open the box, there are 6 little packets that each represent one "cake". Each packet makes a "cake" that is about half the size of a medium-sized cupcake. So if, like in the picture, you expect this thing to fill up your "mug", that mug had better be less than half the size of a small coffee cup. They take two minutes to make. 30 sec to tear open and empty the packet into a coffee cup, add water, and then 90sec in the microwave. The result is actually a very tasty little treat though! It's *extremely* sweet. I don't think I've ever complained about anything being "too sweet" before, and I'm not going to start now, but for people that do think things are "too sweet", you might have that problem with these. In terms of taste and texture, what it actually reminds me of are those sugar-filled quaker oats cereal packets, which I loved but had to give up years ago. Anyhow, there is a lot to like about this product, but I wouldn't call it a "cake", and it doesn't come close to filling even the tiniest of mugs, but once you accept that, there's actually a pretty good, convenient product here.

Tastes ok
These are OK but honestly, a mug cake made with their flour is just as good: 3T carbalose flour, 1T of cocoa, sugar substitute and oil/butter, 1/2 tea of baking powder and vanilla (I also add T of milk/water) mix in an egg then nuke for 1-1/2 minute will be just as good and you can add sugar free chips too like this has if you want.

Very Good Taste, Definitely Worth A Try.
As more keto products come to market it's tricky weeding out the unworthy. I use Carbquick baking mix to make cheddar biscuits, saw these and decided to give these a try. The double chocolate was very good. No egg required so it avoided the eggy-spongecake texture common to mug cakes. This was closer to a cake-brownie. Good chocolatey taste, good sweetness level, good macros. If you are acclimated to keto ingredients then give these a try. A good option for a convenient snack. I hope these mixes remain in production.

Carbquik has a lot of good products, this is HOT MESS (literally)
The carbquik pancake / waffle mix is used in my house every single weekend. We mix it in with other flavored or plain mixes, with the increased protein and value out of this brand. This desert however is absolutely a hot mess. It is not worth the money, time, effort, or frustration.1) You get a little maybe 1/4 cup brownie, I don't know what young girl's tea set they use in the images, but that certainly does not reflect reality.2) For what you get, it's stupid expensive. At over $2 per 1/4 cup of this, times 6 packages, it's like a dollar a bite...Last but not least....3) Cooking is a disaster and not at all consistent. We have a bunch of different coffee mugs, as most families probably do. Of the six packages, 1 came out great, 1 was ok, and 4 were a mess and seemed to burn on top while being liquid still inside. It seems the cup type, shape, material, how well it passes or holds heat, along with a bunch of other possible factors REALLY matter in this case. The only cup that worked well has a flat bottom that is about 2" wide and roughly a 45 degree angle curve up. Flat bottom wide mugs, medium mugs, skinny mugs, none of them work great. In short, not a chance I would ever buy this again or recommend it to anyone at all. This is a huge swing and a miss.

Great for Keto cravings
Is it Hostess cakes, no. Is it Betty Crocker, no. But its pretty good for the cake/brownie cravings ya get and it is filling. Plus it cooks up quick like most mug cakes and tastes better than the bigger commercial versions - Duncan Hines made a sugar free/keto cup but its not as good in my opinion and shelf life is lower.

Easy bake cakes
Suggested baking time too long; 45 - 60 seconds is better

Delicious
This is delicious. Great chocolate flavor that’s really tasty. For me finally something chocolate without a huge sugar spike. If you’re looking for a large mug cake this is not it. Potion is small and just right for me.
