terrific
The media could not be loaded. talk about industrial/commercial capacity!my only issue with this is that it came with absolutely no manual or user guide whatsoever.from what it's made from, it looks like it can all be washed under the sink, which is to say is that I found it easier to wash the part that I use often while it's attached than to take it apart, but I don't know if I'd recommend that.It took me all of 5 minutes to figure out what to do, though. one of the important reasons I got it was that losing strength in my arm has made it real difficult to maintain productivity on the same scale, so this is an absolute Godsend because it's so easy to use, time- and energy-saving.

Made short work of them potatoes!!
Okay, really only two items need addressing.1. No instructions on how to put together, take apart, clean or change so just look at the picture, that should help.2. Do not try to push a large potato through, you will need strength. I cut the large potatoes in half and this cutter processed them like greased lightning.I processed a 10 lb. bag of spuds in about 10 minutes, all spuds were medium to large and used the 3/8 grid cutter, awesome is all I can say!!

This clearly never went through any kind of user experience trial
This device is just awful. I asked for it as a gift choice and honestly this really needs attention. First, the instructions are worthless because the images are printed in low quality black and white and it's very small and when i say small i mean your pinky nail may be bigger. The instructions are unclear, hardly legible and there was obviously a bad translator (google translate?).Setting up the device was painful, and I mean literally painful, I have a deep cut in my thumb from trying to figure it out. Do not trust the gloves that come with it, they don't work well. They didn't think it through when they designed the pins, you have to push down a very tiny bead into the hole while pushing or pulling the rod and it's not easy, you can easily break a nail. The bars on the side also get in the way to make things worse.Taking everything apart is difficult, you will need pliers and it's quite dangerous removing and putting back the rubber stoppers. Speaking of which, that's how you remove the bottom piece, you have to remove the black rubber stoppers. They make it seem like you may have to unscrew something with an allen key or something else in the instructions, the allen key hole isn't standard size either but thankfully you don't need to use it.As far as using it, the whole unit does not stick to the counter top and it's very heavy on one side more than the other so when you cut potatoes you will have to put extra weight into holding it down from flipping which can be dangerous. This also means that you can't cut potatoes as well as you should and are very limited in the size.Washing it is a chore in itself. If you thought putting the unit together was a 3 minute ordeal, wait until you have to take it apart again, clean it in I guess a bowl of soapy water and then put it all back together for another 3.Final thoughts: Is this thing worth getting? If you're looking for an industrial solution, the answer here is no, absolutely not. You should get a wall mounted variety for that use case. This would break quickly if used in such a manner, it's obvious from its construction quality. But if you're buying it for yourself, at home, I ask you why would you bother? If it takes a lot of time to prepare, change the blades, wash, etc... Then how many potatoes do you need to cut by hand before it becomes worthwhile? For me I think that number is around 6. Instead of giving this unit a 1 star, i gave it 2 because it hasn't broken on me on its first use, but it's honestly the most awfully designed potato cutter that I've used (that has a pretty big price tag with it). Sadly, as much as I wanted to love this product, it will sit in the closet somewhere until I have to host a party of some kind one day. Hard pass.
