Both brushes stopped working all of a sudden
i bought Oral-B Genius X , with bundle offer. Both the Toothbrush suddenly stopped working after 4-5 months within a gap of 1 month. I think Oral-B/Seller sent me faulty or repaired brushes and i cant even return back as i dont have a warranty.

Best for Oral Hygiene
This is an amazing buy. A bit on the higher side but we can definitely see the results. The AI feature makes it more convenient.

New and improved version of the last one. Not quite AI though
I needed a new toothbrush and I wasn't prepared to pay for the new style brushes that mount the charger much easier using magnets.I watch the advert and read the the brawn information. The toothbrush on its own is fine it's very lightweight compared to the last one and the battery lasts a lot longer. (Might last toothbrush was on its last legs and a full charge only gave 6 days worth of brushing)The modes built-in on the toothbrush easy switch between and the new display where it lights up to tell you which mode is selected is also an improvement. The case is just a bit of plastic that does absolutely nothing. I read somewhere that it had the ability to be used as a backup battery in case you needed to charge on the go. That is not true for this version. The software isn't very good, as long as it is paid to your phone and your phone is on and relatively close it does track where you have spent your time brushing. This is however not adjustable which means if you have had teeth removed from your mouth it just assumes you have not brushed those teeth. That is a big oversight in the AI technology where it promised to show you where you need to spend more time brushing. Essentially the software is just a way of them reminding you you that you need to change your toothbrush heads every 3 months. Really that's all it does. Very little point in cooking it up to your phone. Maybe I can see a reason for children as you get badges on completing certain tasks but for the majority of people you could easily go for the cheaper brush without the AI rubbish. I also felt they could have provided a better selection of brushes in the twin pack. My brushes were black or white (I got two of them being a twin pack) but they were of different types. I ended up using the white one on the black toothbrush and purchasing a totally different brush for the rose coloured toothbrush. When the pack was supposed to be £250, you expect to get your money's worth. Even if you are purchasing in the sale. Had it not had been in the Amazon sale and and £99 for both brushes it would have gone straight back.

Powerful toothbrush, great cleaning potential but misleading product photos
The Oral-B Genius X toothbrush gives a powerful cleaning experience. But first things first, I opted for this model as the product description on a side by side comparison of features on the wider Oral-B page and the photos shown (fifth photo as of today) for this model give the impression that you get the charging travel case which I thought would be a great option to have. However what you get is in fact a cheap flimsy white plastic case (that probably cost pennies to make). Not the powered charging case shown. That said having investigated these further found that probably not as much of a great concept as first thought in that it needs a special power adapter and basically just acts as a sealed charging pod. Not a power bank or usb connected charger.Though disappointed not to get all the products I thought I was buying I decided to keep the toothbrush anyway. The Genius X is a powerful rechargeable toothbrush will a oscillating rotary head (one supplied which in my package was a crosshead brush). The choice of 6 programmes (Daily Clean, Pro-Clean, Sensitive, Whitening, Gum Care and Tongue Cleaning) seems varied but in reality as pretty much the same with just the power turned up for the pro clean and down for sensitive settings. And slightly slower rotations for gum and tongue settings. It could do with a variable intensity control.I have had no problem installing and running the Oral-B app on my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and connecting the toothbrush with it. The app provides useful feedback on areas covered (or more importantly not covered) and where too much pressure is being applied. This pretty much matched the areas of brushing my dentist told me I need to give more attention to. So I will now log how I improve in this. One minor niggle is the why the need for gamification and awarding meaningless badges for use. This might appeal to kids but as a fifty something adult i find it a distraction rather than a benefit.Battery life seems to be less than anticipated on a full charge and twice daily use for 4 days already shows the battery at 55% remaining so is unlikely to make the two weeks promised in the product description. Finally, there was a registration slip in the box that if filled in online extends warranty to three (3) years.

Product Images are deceptive
Returned. The case depicted here looks exactly the same as the charging travel case, however is simply a plastic holder for the handle and 2 heads. I have used the earlier model of this and can verify it's good, albeit not at the RRP. The items included should be clearly listed and the description for the case should outline it does not have cahrging functionality. To update this a bit, I have since bought the luxe version of this which does include a charging travel case and can verify it is a good product. There are some limitations, for instance the charging time is way too long vs. The time in the day between brushing your teeth and the battery only lasts me about a week. For this price though, it would only be worth it provided it came with the travel case. Also, the soft setting also appears to be very strong which is an issue if like myself you have gum disease and the dentist has asked you don't over brush.I am not amending the rating because despite the product being good, the listing is still deceptive in my opinion

Do you clean your teeth properly? All of them?
Because I wasn’t. I’ve been using an electric brush with timer for years, I floss, use mouthwash and visit my dentist every six months I do everything I’m supposed to do.So imagine my surprise when I get a new brush, link it to my phone play with the new features clean my teeth to be told I’d only brushed 90% of my teeth properly.47 years old and I’m trying to relearn how to clean my teeth or at least how to clean them in the 2 minutes.

The travel case is a hoax
This electric toothbrush does not have the necessary cable to connect it with the travel case and this travel case is very basic, I have seen photos in which the travel case has the possibility of connecting it to a usb device, the one that came in my order does not have it, it is only in a simple plastic case
