Comparing this to name brand ratchets this done a great job. To start with this has a max torque rating of 45 ft. lbs. The #1 tool brand has a max torque rating of 55 ft. lbs. The #1 tool brand will cost double then why you pay for this and that is bare tool only. Add 125 bucks to that price and you get a battery and charger. This set came with 2 batteries, charger and some mm sockets. That’s a great deal if you ask me. This cordless ratchet feels great in the hands. It feels stout and well made. You can drop it over and over again and not have to worry about destroying the ratchet. Let’s face it. You will drop it. We all do. This cordless ratchet feels like it’s heavy duty. It does work well. I work industrial maintenance and where I work at we use a lot of lock nuts. This is great for that. Now I don’t have to ratchet a locknut down for 5 minutes before I finally get to tighten it. Everything with this kit came in a plastic case. It’s a cheap case and I’m not much on those cheap plastic cases anyway so I pitched it in the trash. All in all I would definitely recommend this 3/8” cordless ratchet. For the quality of the tool and the torque it supplied I would have to say it’s worth picking up.

Hobby grade but works well for what it is

The ad copy on this tool notes some very good features but some of their claims are really pushing the limit of absolute honesty. Let's start with the variable speed trigger that JUSTOOL claims is on this tool. Well, it isn't variable at all. The speed does vary from zero to 220 RPM but it does it in about a millisecond so that's not really variable. The LED work light that they show directing the light beam directly at the socket could be very useful. The light in real life, however, focuses the beam about 4 inches behind the working part of the tool. So the claim that it has an LED light is true, but the light is absolutely useless for working. In fairness, most of the other claims that JUSTOOL makes seem pretty legit. I didn't test the torque but the tool performed adequately running on and off bolts in a timely manner to a reasonable level of tightness. I'm not a tool snob but I do own a Milwaukee 3/8 ratchet and most of the basic features of the JUSTOOL ratchet are passable in comparison. It does seem like a lot of companies (including JUSTOOL) have tried to copy the Milwaukee but in their haste to bring their tool to market they simply check off the boxes in a hurried manner instead of actually paying attention to manufacturing a 'good copy'. The LED light is just one glaring example of this. The box was checked that said "does the tool have a light?" without paying any attention to the usefulness of this feature. It really makes me wonder about the "did you make a dependable tool?" check box but only time will tell if they paid more attention to that aspect before it was sold on Amazon.The basic mechanical design of this ratchet is OK, and it will find some use assembling lawn tools and day to day fastening chores and what not. I will keep my Milwaukee on the other side of the shop where I get paid to do work.

Very handy

The media could not be loaded.  I live in a solar-powered arched cabin. I adjust the tilt angle of my solar panels seasonally to maximize solar power generation. To change the tilt, I have to loosen then retighten many bolts. Until now, I used an impact driver, which would over-tighten the bolts, causing damage if I wasn't careful. I ordered this JUSTOOL 3/8" cordless electric ratchet wrench in hopes of it making the process easier.Let me say that I am duly impressed with this battery ratchet wrench. It is much easier to handle and doesn't over-torque the bolts. It also provides me better reach.The Justool ratchet wrench comes in a nice sturdy black plastic case. Included with it are two rechargeable Lithium-Ion batteries and a battery charger. I like that there were two batteries provided. It allows me to use one battery while charging the other. The batteries last a long time - just one battery lasts long enough to loosen then retighten all of the bolts on my tilt-mount system.Also included with the ratchet wrench are seven standard-sized 3/8" metric sockets and a 3/8" to 1/2" adapter.Overall, I am pretty pleased with this cordless ratchet wrench. It is well built, well designed, ergonomic (easy to hold), powerful enough to loosen and tighten the bolts, but not so strong as to cause damage. I will be using it from now on. It offers a lot of functionality and value for the price. I highly recommend it.

Well made. All charged up and ready to go. Purchase was a replacement for one that served me for 20 years (not same make).
