Furinno Multipurpose Storage Cabinet w/4 Bin Drawers, Espresso/Brown

Word of advise, when it says that it's recommended to use 2 people to put this together, if I were you, I'd follow those instructions!! I thought I could do it by myself and when I went to stand it up to put the shelves in, without any support, it fell and I broke a wooden peg. Luckily home depot sells them though lol. So I decided to just do 2 drawer shelves anywa,y and it's a good size, I have it next to the garage door that we come in to put little stuff and store misc stuff in the drawers that we use. I like it a lot, very very easy to put together (as long as there's 2 people!). ALSO the main picture is a bit deceiving, it's not as big as you think, make sure you read description!

I can't believe that Amazon would carry something this crappy. I wish I would have read the reviews before I bought this. I will be returning this product as long as sending it back doesn't cost me more than what I paid for it. What's wrong with it? Everything. The box it comes in is packed so tightly with cheap pressed painted particle board slats stacked on top of one another that you can't even remove the parts without the cheap paint coming off. Some of the particle board "sides" are like 1/4 an inch thick - easily bent - just like a piece of cardboard yet heavy, cheap, falling apart right out of the box. Some of the plastic cheap parts were even missing. Every portion of this ridiculous item must be assembled. You get a stack of 6 million cheap slats - supposedly pre-drilled with holes that you have to line up with cheap plastic dowels. This thing is a pile of crap from start to finish. I can't believe that something like this even exists. Once I laid everything out, I realized that there were so many cheap, highly breakable parts, that it would take me the better part of an afternoon to even assemble this ridiculous thing - and that is assuming all of the parts would stay whole long enough to be assembled. Then I discovered the missing pieces. Wonderful. This thing was a pain in the butt until the bitter end. Once I decided that I could not waste my time assembling it, getting it back into the box was another time waster. The packing has been computer optimized and packed by robots making it absolutely impossible for this cheap pile of crap to even be put back into the box by a human once the buyer realizes how utterly cheap this thing is.Is Amazon actually reviewing any of the products it sells anymore? Seems like the seller has become just another source for cheap crap. Used to be you could count on a measure of quality in their stuff. This thing, and my last few purchases, have been completely disappointing. I may even pull my prime membership over this and other cheap products that seem to be making it into their marketplace.

It is what I expect of furinno products. Cheap (affordable), lightweight (a little flimsy), and easy to assemble alone (the instructions on a few furinno products say two people but I always do it alone).For a price so low (I just wait to buy furinno products on sale, never full price), this is a workable piece of furniture that looks just fine. It is laminated particle board like all other furinno products, with some scuffs and very, very slight unevenness even when new, but if I wanted top quality I would pay for it.It suits my needs on a budget just fine and small cosmetic adjustments are easy to DIY. :) As always, it is true to the colors of the image, all products are the same consistent shades, which makes it easy to build rooms of this stuff.The one thing that sucked on this particular piece is thay I was sent a screw with no ridges, and one of the dowels was... iffy.To help make furinno products more stable and sturdy, wood glue is acceptable to use, and despite that they always call yhe dowels plastic, I have yet to recieve any plastic dowels. They are always wood. They still function just fine.

This actually looks WAY better than I imagined. I've had it in my classroom for maybe 6 months. I use it for teacher storage, but it holds a lot! I bought it to hold all the odds and ends that always just ended up sitting on my desk. I also use the tall, vertical slots to hold my teacher manuals and binders. Very handy! I don't know if it's supposed to, but mine actually came with an extra black drawer which is nice...just in case. They aren't the sturdiest of bins, but they do the job I need them for. If they came in black, I would buy one for my house as well!

I love the way it looks, and I do like the storage baskets. HOWEVER, it was a nightmare to put together. The dowels broke, and it kept falling apart. We finally had to drill screws through the sides to make it stable, otherwise the shelves wouldn't stay in place. It was very frustrating to assemble, and my husband is a pro at assembling products like these.
