NUXAC-25 Portable Battery Operated Acoustic Amplifier

This rechargeable amp was a big surprise. Not only is it built super solid, but the sound is awesome. I have several other amps but this one will be used for busking around. With 4 hours of playtime on the battery (and who sings for 4 hours straight anyway??) it has plenty of performance stamina. I highly recommend this product. It's a keeper.

After seeing the 2 star review for this, I felt compelled to write a review for this amp. I can't speak to the longevity as I have only had it a few weeks. It is plenty loud for it's size and power rating. The BT functions have worked perfectly for me every time and I am a newbie to techy kind of stuff. I have been playing for over 10 years and have about 200 gigs under my belt. I have used this amp with a mag soundhole pickup, a guitar w/a built in preamp and 2 guitars with passive piezo's and it puts out plenty of sound - enough for a coffee house type gig. Not much variety w/the drum machine, but a neat little extra. I'm happy with mine.

Changed my review from 2 stars to 5 stars. I realize i had a rubbish pick up in my guitar! This thing is actually pretty loud and sounds good. Good reverb. Knobs are super smooth and feel quality. Only thing i dont like is it pairs automatically to bluetooth on my phone. Onboard tuner is pretty great tho. Very responsive. One thing i must state- donot unscrew the strap screws they are held in by a washer inside the amp. There is no way to get them out. I know because I completely disassembled the entire amp only to find there is no way to get to them.

I bought the NU.X AC-25 amp in October 2022 from MusiciansFriend.com. Finally, I found a compact, light-weight and a good sounding rechargeable battery-powered amp for a reasonable price. I like it much better than the Boss Cube Street II. The 10 watt Cube had a very bright sound and wasn't able to produce the bass notes faithfully and it had some problems, like a loud hum. I shipped it back.This amp produces the bass notes really well and there is no hum or hiss, very quiet.I'm old school, I don't need the blue-tooth feature of this amp. However, just as a curiosity I tried pairing it with my smart phone, and it paired quickly.The only thing I wish this amp had is EQ for the mic channel. But, the mic channel is pretty flat; singing through it I sounded just like myself when I sing without a mic. As a solo acoustic- guitarist/singer, reverb is all I need and this amp does have a decent sounding reverb for both channels. This amp is built solid and all knobs and switches have a very good feel to them.25 watts (RMS) is more than loud enough for small indoor venues or even outdoor busking. It also has a small tilt stand, but I carry a plastic Peanut butter jar cap with me just in case I need more of an upward tilt.I am very happy with my purchase.I bought a 30-can soft bag cooler on sale for 9.99 from amazon.com and you would think it was made for this amp, good fit. The bag is of high quality with tough fabric and the insulation is a good protective material, it also has a tough hard rubber-ish plastic bottom.
