This exceeded my expectations. Install was easy except needed longer mounting screws. Quality is great otherwise.

Purchased this bed extender for my dodge ram 1500. I'm blown away with the quality! Was definitely not expecting anything near this good at half of the price of the Mopar extender. It installs easily with the factory dimples already in place in the box, the brackets match up perfectly. If your box isn't predimpled for a bed extender it does come with a template to locate the holes. Brackets are solid cast aluminum, rails are all aluminum, comes with all stainless hardware, as well as lots of extra hardware and parts! Simple easy installation, took about an hour. The only thing I had to modify was the rubber bumpers on the one side to sit lower in the box because the rails interfered with the latch for the tonneau cover, no real fault of the manufacturer and a simple fix, just trimmed them down, kit even includes 2 additional rubber bumpers. Highly recommended especially at half the cost of one from the dealer.

The center bars that join the left curved bars and right curved bars pop loose making the whole device obsolete.The bars just slide into the slightly larger hollow bars with no device to secure them in place and prevent them from coming out (just think of handlebars to a razor scooter how they are adjustable up and down but without anything stopping the handlebars from completely coming out of the frame tube). There is no way (at least in the instructions) to secure these center bars so they do not pop out.The screws are cheap as other have pointed out. The screw heads will absolutely break off (3 of them during my installation).The whole extender after its installed is flimsy and not worth the cheaper price. Pay a little extra for a quality one. I regret spending money on this.Edit: I searched YouTube for the proper way to install it and fixed my error. Upgraded to 3 stars for now. Still bad instructions and cheap hardware. Seems to function okay so far though.

I followed the instructions and partially assembled the bed extender; I will say the quality was nice enough! Finish was even and I damaged, went together well, and sturdy yet light weight enough.I encountered an issue when I went to install the mounting brackets; there is it enough room on my newer Silverado (2021). It was hard to pictures but only one mounting hole would be securely fastened, the one with yellow (I held a utility behind for contrast) was just past the flat face of the bed, and the last one

Easy to install and use when installed. It slides up and over when in use, fits inside when we have the cover on. Good purchase.
