I was pleased to be served this book up as a suggestion as I follow the author's blog from time to time and know he knows his stuff. The book didn't disappoint, although it could have been a bit longer - just because the content is great and I would have liked it to go on more!I like the author's transparency, sharing his monthly earning statements (impressive!). I clicked on lots of links in the book (have subscribed to the YouTube guy he recommends) and downloaded some extra great stuff, such as the free iPhone Video Marketing Manual, which is fantastic.This book is a great introduction for anyone thinking of getting into teaching online.

This is the 2nd book I buy from Rob Cubbon and I absolutely loved it, even better than the first one!I gave it five stars because even when I don't consider myself a newbie in the internet marketing department, I still managed to learn a few new tricks and get some fresh ideas that I can implement in my own marketing needs.I didn't like that a few images were too small (i.e. image of the mindmap, the image inside Udemy for instructors) but I do have an idea of what he meant so for me this wasn't a turn off at all but it may be something to consider for the author for his future releases.The book does have some links inside but most of them are discounted offers to other great video trainings and I actually took advantage of the recommendations Rob made and managed to install my first local wordpress site on my new iMac.I'm not new to development but I'm mostly a PC guy so this book and its references definitely pointed me in the right direction.Wonderful book overall and I look forward for the next release, just turned into a fan!

Like the layout and the use of links throughout his book. Bought the book 10 years ago, and still works, most of it.There was a Udemy course link that gave me this: Sorry, this course is no longer accepting enrollments.I recommend this eBook.

This is a great little book to help a new online instructor sell his or her courses. The author has gone into detail on how to create, market, and sell courses for the online market. It is full of the "learned experiences" from not only the author, but from other successful instructors in the online market. This is valuable!I've been fortunate to be a professor teaching adult learners for over 25 years, so I appreciate the author's caring about his learners and wanting to make connections with them. I will be going into further depth of the resources provided in the book to begin developing my own online courses. I'm excited! This book is a valuable resource for anyone pursuing the goal of providing courses online!Thanks!Art

This book gives some useful information on starting online courses through Udemy, including naming specific software and hardware, which I appreciated. The book begins with the NLP dogma that the map is not the territory, and concludes with a rant about new world orders, and the downfall of Western civilisation. I found this odd in a book that is supposed to teach me about online course development, it seemed like filler material to expand the word count. I don't recommend this book, John Purcell's How to Make a Great Living Teaching Online is far superior.

This is the third really good how to create/market a course book that I've read and it's amazing. It's a quick read but you get just the information you need to get started on creating online courses. Thanks Rob awesome job! I'm going to read it through a second time and take some notes because there's a ton of amazing links and info that he mentions. I've made some changes to my course after reading this and will do some more, but so far things are awesome & I'm up to over 600 students in about a week! If you're thinking about creating video courses as either a new or additional business venture, and you have little or no experience, this book will be helpful. Even though the author details his own experiences, he does so with nice detail so that a newbie can get a good idea about what doing it looks like in the real world. No hype here, just the truth about the work it will take and his experience as far as income as well.If you do have some experience in creating/selling courses online, this book may still offer some useful tips and again, you have another entrepreneur's perspective which can be helpful as well.

This book is so engaging that I read it in one sitting. Underlined all the important points and made my notes to follow the guidelines provided in this boo. Thanks Rob.

Rob Cubbon's book explains how to create and sell video courses online. R. Cubbon presents us tools we can use, plateforms where we can teach, etc. It is also important to promote courses effectively. At the end of the book, we can find case studies of people who created video courses online.This book is thought to take us action immediately !

I expected more information about the on line marketing. The title is misleading as well as many people does to sell their books and videos. It's just an ebook for beginners who want to start. The big questions about marketing, online adv investments, adwords vs facebook adv etc... are not here.

This is exactly what other reviewers have said. An easy and quick read that is full of practical information.You don't have to plough through pages of flannel and waffle to get to the good stuff in this book. The good stuff is on every page. It is succinct and direct in its treat of the subject matter.I learnt a lot from this little book and I will be re-reading parts of it and definitly dipping into its resources.
