I recently had to replace an Opal nugget ice maker because I never cleaned it very often and it built up mineral deposits in impossible to reach places and then mold built up over the minerals and started showing up in the ice, gross! I would try to remember to clean it but I never had enough vinegar on hand, only bleach. I think this stuff is stronger and better than regular kitchen-grade vinegar. If I can keep it on subscribe-and-save and it's always there in the cabinet, I'll do a better job keeping up with it on this ice maker.Note that the new Opal ice makers trigger a cleaning alert that flashes on the front of the device after only 100 hours of making ice. This bottle is not going to last 4 months if I honor the cleaning light and not just wait to do it once a month.

I got an ice machine for Christmas. Because my family is obsessed with ice and we have to have an ice cold water every night. I didn't know I had that gene until I joined adulthood. Anyway, this product is great. It cleans my ice machine very well. I have also never thought about it, but the ice tastes well. Can't go wrong with this product if you have a pebble ice machine.

I had a small pebble Ice machine which I thought was broken and the company had actually offered to replace it for me. I decided to purchase and use this product and after adding 1 oz to 1 quart of water and running the Ice Maker Cleaning Function the noise went away and the Ice machine has continued to work for three months since I added this cleaner to the machine and cleaned my ice maker. I use it for a monthly cleaning, and it seems to have corrected what I thought was a problem with my Ice maker which both I and the Ice Maker Company thought would require them to replace my ice making machine with a new machine. Used in my Caterlite Countertop and worked great. Unfortunately the water capacity for that machine is less than the specified amount for this solution so ended up doubling its concentration and it came up lovely
