It has a fine sift and is easy to apply to wet hair. I have only used it once and found it to be as good for coloring hair as some of the other expensive indigo powders. It also appears to be not too drying and washes out well.

I'm satisfied with Vitamatic natural, Organic Indigo powder, and like the fact that it comes in substantial, 1-pound packages that last a while.I mix Vitamatic Organic Indigo powder into a fluffy paste using natural Aloe Vera gel, instead of plain water. Aloe Vera gel, in addition to its conditioning, softening effect, has a mucilagenous or slippery texture that allows the Indigo paste to cling to hair strands, allowing the natural die to better color hair strands, as opposed to when mixed with just plain water. When mixed with just water, Indigo tends to have crumbly texture that easily falls off of hair strand into the sink, on your shoulders or floor where it's definitely not needed.Vitamatic Organic Indigo Powder covers or tones down the fiery red color obtained after using henna very well within about one hour and fifty minutes. The resulting color is more of a dark brown, not black, as some people pretend. But, as is, I'm happy with the 100% natural result. Beats the use of caustic hair dyes!

Fresh, nice indigo powder. Good quality. My hair looks beautiful dark brown. No reddish henna is showing at all. Was also sent quickly which I appreciated very much.

I did a wrong review before. Didn’t pay attention and thought I was reviewing something else. Apologies to anyone who read it. This is the first time I’m using indigo powder and so far I’ve only used it once using the two step process. Henna first and this after. I do like how my hair looks and feel. Never going back to the packaged hair dyes I used to use before

I liked the product because it is organic and natural. But it is not for dying the hair. It may be help for other things.I followed all of the written instructions to dye my hair but it didn't work at all. I tried again but it was the same. I surprised by rewiwer's idea. I have no idea what they were talking about. It was completely false. I already returned this product.So, my qestion is why people write false idea to waste someone's time and energy? It is bettter to write the real idea to save peoples from confusion.anyways, i like to thank Amazon for doing great job.The retuning process is very easy and their customer service job is awesome.

I combined this with organic henna to color my hair. It worked great, the color was rich. The consistency was a fine powder, that mixed into a nice creamy paste.
