Good heat protectant for hair, would recommend....
As someone who using a hair dryer along with a 400 degree curling iron on my hair several times a week, I've come to appreciate a good heat protectant. Anytime I forget to use one for a long period of time, the effects eventually show up. Most of the protectants I've tried are sprays, so I was excited to try a cream instead. The Envy Heat Protecting Cream comes in a 4 ounce bottle. It's a thick, white cream, which has a slight scent but only when checking for a scent; had I just applied it I would have thought it was unscented. Because it is thick, there is a bit of effort involved in fully spreading it throughout the hair, but I feel the thickness is justified since it is supposed to provide a layer for heat protection. The cream works well; after using it I applied styling products as usual, and in the end my hair was soft and shiny, which makes sense since it contains argan oil.. There was no "residue" or sticky feeling left behind once the hair was dry. My hair also didn't feel heavy, which I was a bit worried about since it's so thick and my hair is fine. I feel it worked great for what it was meant to do. It is also not tested on animals. The only thing I wish the company would provide is a bit more direction in how to use the product. It simply says to apply before using heat on your hair, not whether it should be used on damp or dry hair, or either. It also says for best results use it with their hair serum, but again, not in which order to apply the products. I simply used it based on how I've used heat protectants in the past; on damp hair and before styling products (knowing this is a heat protectant and not a styling product itself).I disclose that I received a discount on this product in exchange for a fair and honest review, but my opinion is my own and I only rate based on my personal experience with the product. Overall, this is a good product for those whose hair is abused with heat, and I would recommend it.

I've used a lot of products like this but since I recently got my hair cut ...
I've used a lot of products like this but since I recently got my hair cut I really wanted to try something different that might work a little better than past products. Other products that I have used have made my hair crunchy, greasy or smell funky. This one didn't do any of those things. I been using it for the past few days and my hair is extremely soft and shiny. What I like even more about it is that my hair feels completely natural when I run my fingers through it. I don't used a lot of hair spray, gels or moose because I like my hair to fall naturally. I do curl my hair fairly often and I'm not sure if it's related but my curl definitely seems to stay in longer. The one thing I wasn't crazy about was the directions, it doesn't state if this should be applied when the hair is damp or dry. It just says to apply before applying heat to the hair. I do really like this product and will do an update in a few weeks as to what the long term results have been. I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest and unbiased feedback

I really liked this heat protecting cream
I really liked this heat protecting cream. I found that it really did protect my hair from the heat from blowdrying and the hear from the flat iron. I am pretty impressed with this product and plan on buying more when i run out of it.

I have been looking for a new heat protectant and this one is perfect! I love the cream formula
Just received this today couldn't wait to try it out! I have been looking for a new heat protectant and this one is perfect! I love the cream formula, the bottle has really pretty packaging and its such a decent size. Did a good job at protecting my hair from the harshness of my styling tools, especially since I color my hair, this is a much needed product. It has a light pleasant smell, makes hair feel soft, formula isn't too thick or heavy. Good product overall, recommend!Received this product at a discount for an honest review.
