Nero 2017 Classic

My original review gave this software 4 stars. Since that time I have experienced a couple of serious problems with it. In a effort to stop the occasional freeze ups when editing videos I ran the updater. That made the software completely unusable. No video, only audio would load. I had to reinstall again from the original disc. After that I found that this program ran better if run in compatibility mode with Windows XP SP3 instead of Windows 10. That's the way I'm using it now and so far it seems to be fine. I'll give it three stars because it's not totally usless to me this way. Still won't trust the updater though.

Allways suspicious of any vendor, and was ready to be dissapointed.But the installation ID took flawlesy and the latetest updates installed on win10 worked seamlessly.On top of that I purchased The new "M" disks /25G good for a millinium, and burned as bluray and it took.this also requires a "M" type burner bought from ASUS/ M 25G disks from verbatim!A pleasent surprise, now I have to wait a thousand years to see if "M" disks are truly everlasting.Plan to put old familiy photos on these new M disks

It would not install at first on my laptop a file on windows 10 was missing I would get a message saying, The installation of Microsoft VC Redist 2015 (x86) has failed. Setup will now exit. That would make me as mad as a hornet as then HP laptops not having software to run the DVD player in it made me mad as hell to!!! Well I found a website that had a free trial of the same software so I downloaded it and It must have installed the file I was missing and then I installed the disc and it worked fine and then I was able to put in the password and it set up just fine website.

Bought this after trying to use several of the free programs on the web. The problem with those programs is they can't do a simple COPY CD/DVD!!! None of the workarounds you try work. For Nero Express it's simple: insert DVD you want to copy, select COPY CD feature, wait till it tells you to install a blank CD/DVD, insert one and it automatically creates an exact copy.I burn YouTube videos to DVD. I usually make a backup copy. Sometimes one disk is bad, so to make a new backup, it's easier to COPY the one good disk rather than have to redub all the individual videos to DVD again. This is where Nero Express makes it easy.Took a while to install Nero 2017 Classic, but after the install, was already updated. Has a whole bunch of advanced features which I have not tried yet.

Nero 2017 Classic works with everything music, shows, and etc. I'm glad it is okay enough because my old completely different decided after all these years to tell me it was not going let me use it.

I recently got me dad to take all of his 8mm film to Costco\Yesvideo to get them converted to DVD. We go the DVDs back and we loved them. When we looked into getting extra copies they wanted to charge us $10 each plus shipping. I got this software and it copied it over perfectly. Now I can give each of my siblings copies of old home videos.It was easy to to use and even has links to tutorials to watch if you are lost. I also found a way to record my dad explaining each of the videos, which was helpful since I couldn't recognize most people in them.

Could not get it to install and work....disappointment
