These connectors are awesome. The standard clips that come with most landscape lighting systems can be temperamental and once they are buried in the dirt for a while, they are almost impossible to remove without breaking them. I have tried numerous other connectors and they have all been poor designs. I have even used standard silicone filled outdoor twist nut style, which do work, but they are messy/slimy, and you have to cut the main cable. These connectors have worked every time and are very secure. I have read reviews that complain about them not being waterproof, but the original style connectors are not waterproof either so this must not be an issue with low voltage outdoor landscape lighting.

These connectors work so well. I just throw away whatever connectors are supplied with the fixtures and use these. Easy to use and only one connection failed because I cross threaded connector and no contact was made. My fault. I bought two different sizes for different cables.

These are good connectors that clamp down tightly. I do worry about water getting in the bottom piece that screws on. It is hollow inside where water can get to the inside wire and terminal. I filled it with caulk as a precaution.

Will not work for 12 ga low voltage wire without stripping the wire which defeats the purpose. After 4 tries i just cut the wire and used wire nuts. Will never try these again and advise anyone using 12 ga wire do not waste your time or money on these

This product is a well-made, well-engineered and a time-saving device. They seemed a little pricey at first but if you considered the time saved, its a no brainer, I have installed over a hundred of these connectors

A very secure connection. They appear to be very well-built and durable

The threads on this product strip out when trying to make a tight connection to the wire...making the product useless. I'm trying to return the product

Using 12/2 wire split, the connectors will not thread or grab to puncture the insulation. The connector gets tight and then loosens losing the pin connection to the bare wire. Waste of time.
