These sleeves are very short out of the package but boy, do they stretch! They stretch in length to fit my arms easily and they stay up on my arms great. The upper arm end has a soft sewn in band and the end around your palm has the same soft sewn in band, however, the thumb hole does not have a sewn in band and therefore, it unravels easily. You can cut the unraveled pieces of material off but that causes the thumb hole to get slightly bigger each time. If the thumb hole had a sewn in band around it, then these sleeves would be awesome. So Manufacturer: Please start putting a sewn in band around the thumb hole too.

I like these to keep my tattoos from getting too sun burnt. They fit well although a little snug on the biceps (are my biceps too big? - maybe!) it's a little tight around the thumb and kinda weird wearing them, but if it helps avoid sunburn, I'm all for it!

my wife will not do yard work without these, she is fair skinned and really need the protection that these offer.
