This is a great product. These cook right up in the Instant Pot in 6 minutes. We always soak 'em for an hour or so before cooking. I've gone through about 10 bags now and haven't found any stones/sand so that's a plus for this product. Did I mention the flavor is magical. This is the 2nd time I have bought this wonderful lentils in bulk. We are a strictly vegetarian family and eat quite a bit of lentils. I love how "meaty" and delicious this particular kind of lentil is. It is much higher in protein than other lentils, which are already rather high in protein! They cook up beautifully when following the instructions on the package.

Nothing particularly special about these. The packaging, however is very high quality. Bad packaging is a huge pet peeve of mine! They have a good texture when cooked properly, and pair well with barley, brown rice (makes a complete protein, too), soy sauce, and garlic. This is the only rice that I use.
