My first cup using this filter restored the enjoyment and full body of ground coffee.like everyone using paper filters, my coffee lacked ALOT of flavor, body, and oils...always unsticking them while half asleep for a marginally passing grade cup of despair..The filter fit my Bunn, and flows well, but the taste is TOP NOTCH, as good as the best...After several weeks, maybe once a month, i grab some Dawn, or Bathroom Cleaner with Bleach and a toothbrush and scrub the little(I mean TINY) holes along the sides for a few minutes, then rinse and it's good as new.I use it daily, twice a day sometimes....and NEVER into the heat of a dishwasher, ONLY hand rinse, and hand wash as above.After 3 years, it's good as new, still! (and I've reached the point where i'm now saving money on disposable filters!)and again, it allows FABULOUS brew to bless your cup!

I have used this filter twice and so far it has done its job as expected!! The typical coffee filters from most grocery store are too short and coffee grounds end up all over the inside basket. This reusable filter has not caused any spillage so far! Easier to dump after you make coffee, if you leave it toCool then it will require a rinse under running water but it cleans with ease!I haven’t noticed any change in the flavor of my coffee, which is great!

The filter basket resolved a major problem with brewing coffee in our house. Let me explain:For the past several months we have struggled with a troubling problem with our coffee maker. The coffee would flow too slowly from the filter basket (containing the filter paper and coffee) into the pot, relative to the water being pumped into the filter. This resulted in the pot overflowing unless we turned off the brewing cycle repeatedly. We never had this problem in the past. We tried everything to resolve it - first we got a new coffee maker (even a different brand), thinking the old one was just too old. That didn't work. We tried different brands of coffee with different grind sizes. We tried making just a half-pot. We put a perforated plastic spacer under the filter paper to prevent the paper from sticking to the basket and hindering flow. I am not even going to go into more detail about many things we tried.Finally we thought it might be the filter paper itself. We had tried several brands of filters, but were not sure they were made by different manufacturers. As a last resort, I found this metal basket on Amazon. Although it is advertised for a Bunn coffee maker, and we were using Mr Coffee, I checked the measurements and it appeared it would fit inside the plastic basket of out coffee maker.The filter arrived the other day. It fit perfectly in the plastic basket allows us to skip the paper filter altogether. It works like a champ. We have made pot after pot of coffee with no problem whatsoever. We are so happy this metal basket has fixed this vexing problem! The root cause was apparently something about the paper filters that hinders the flow of coffee.

This review is for the Nicelucky Bunn coffee filter reusable 8, 10, 12, cup basket replacement filter-stainless steel Permanent coffee filter Suitable for BUNN coffee brewer.First impression, out of the box I thought the side was solid but a closer look you can see the extremely small holes on the side and bottom.It does fit BUNN 55200 CSB3T Speed Brew Platinum. But there are a few things I feel you should know before you buy.One, if you put too much coffee grounds in the basket it will over flow into the Bunn basket.Two, the basket doesn't fit perfectly into the Bunn basket. There's a little wiggle room. However, it still brews a great pot of coffee. That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Felt saying it fit or brews a 12 cup machine is a bit misleading.The very first time I used 2.5 tablespoons whole coffee beans before grounding. That was perfect. The second time I used 3 tablespoons. Too much. I had coffee grounds inside the Bunn basket. Still a great cup of coffee though.More importantly, let me tell you something else about this basket. I ordered my Bunn machine and the filter from Amazon at the same time. Well, as you know your order may not arrive at the same time. The maker arrived before the basket. Lucky, the machine came with a few paper filters. So very next morning I make a pot of coffee. Was good. Like I expected. But the next morning after receiving the basket. The difference in taste y'all. I couldn't believe it. I don't ever plan to use paper filters ever again. In fact, for fear I may damage the filter during cleaning. I bought a backup filter as a replacement.Love, love, love this backet filter.
