I love the versatility of the interchangeable bottoms. I did not try the suction yet and I didnt want to have it fail and fall in the water while on a fishing boat. I used the velcro strap and it did not get tight enough to stay secure on the rail, it wasnt loose but it also wasnt stable.

Love, love this cup holder! We are only using the suction base right now, but love having the option to use it in other ways. We ordered two and they work perfect when we are in the jacuzzi to hold our drinks!!

Purchased this product to hold my large insulated tea mug in our Class A RV. THe suction power would be good for a soda can, or a paper cup of beverage, but not my big mug. However, it was the only item that would hold the base of my mug, so I got some heavy-duty double-sided tape and used that to hold the item in place. This gives me a place where I can set my mug without having to take my eyes off the road while driving the Class A to find the cup holder that is built in and about 6" father away than I can reach. The swap out bases are a great idea, and if I hadn't now permanently installed it in the rig, I would look forward to trying them.

I bought this for my husband so he could have a drink while relaxing in our new pool. Unfortunately, he had too much to drink combined with too much sun and left it sitting on the deck...where my dog decided it was contraband and buried it somewhere in the back yard. If I ever find it, I will be able to review it durability living underground.

I doubt the sand spike would actually work, or at least it failed me in the snow. The suction cups seem a little basic and really only works on the most idea surfaces. That said, I think most of us are buying these to strap them to the arm of a chair... and in that use, these are great! Well, other than losing a place to put your arm (didn't really think about that when I bought them). We used these for bottles, cans, mixed drinks and even a Amazon Tap and they held in place firmly on an assortment of plastic outdoor furniture. Nephew plans to use one for his bunkbed to hold his iPhone at night. I bought one for work, because I am sick of misplacing my drinks while filming.

Got this for my mother-in-law as a Christmas gift. They recently got a boat and are so excited to try it out on the front of the boat! She even sent me a picture noting that the band can act as a bracelet LOL.

we have a table with umbrella that floats in our pool and we like to use the cup/can/bottle holderto keep our beverages secure and upright. We also have the wine glass holders and they work great as well.WARNING* no glass containers allowed in pool or around cool deck*! i am happy that I purchased these items, they work well and I have given them as gifts.

I like the way it Velcro's onto the arm of the chair. I used it on a beach chair and it was perfect. My kids were very impressed too!
