Perfect with modifications
I love the look of this mount, it’s very high quality and durable and fits both my rimmed and rimless tanks. However, I am the idiot who does not measure before buying and my lights are 4inches wide instead of 3.5inches. If this it you, don’t click away yet, it’s a pretty simple fix. As others have stated a heat gun can be used to make the plastic clips more pliable and bend them to fit your lights. A heat gun wasn’t something I had though. What I did is hold it to my stove with some pliers and use them to warp the clip to the right size. Don’t hold it directly on the flame/element but have it heat the same way and now I have the perfect fit.The only changes I’d like to see is either an adjustable clip or multiple sizes included. The instructions were a bit confusing but it didn’t take me long to figure it out. I’ll buy more when I set up more aquariums.

Great product for what you pay.
Likes: First off I have to state that Amazon shipped it quickly and the product I received was in perfect condition. Now on to the product itself. Out of the boxes it was well packaged and came with extra hardware that I didnt need but was good to have just in case. The adjustment screws are plastic as everyone else has stated but the construction was pretty solid. I was able to loosen and tighten with ease and made sure to use adequate pressure so as not to strip them. Key note, I do have a rimmed tank and at first I thought it was not going to fit, but after angeling it a little I was able to squeeze it onto the rim so with that being said, it is a very tight fit and very slightly bends the rim a little but not to the point that I am worried about damaging it. I have a 75 gallon tank and the lights I have are pretty long, so I went with two brackets instead of one. This was the right choice, so i am not worried about sagging lights. As you can see in the picture, they line up almost perfectly and do present a slim profile. Also the fact that everything is adjustable, means that I can possible use it for future tanks but the brackets fit mine perfectly and does not hang over the tank. Honestly the only issue I have with the product is the sturdiness and possibly the height. It wiggles a little when touched and at the highest level, it will be interesting getting in and out of the tank because I am not taking the brackets on and off. All in all, I think it makes the tank look beautiful and takes the lights from sitting directly on top of the tank which was then end goal anyway.

Function and versatility is good if not paying full price.
Plastic mounting screws seem a bit weak but so far so good... will be adding another light fixture shortly. Would not have paid full price. Was on sale for about $20 per mount so value for price paid is ok / good.Height adjustment capability is good but would be better if adjustment could be made without removing the entire device. Mounted to 150 gallon acrylic aquarium so moving tank to do final adjustment is a touch less than convenient.Overall, if purchased on sale, a pretty good value.

purchased for competitor lighting (Fluval)
I purchased this light bar as a "last hope" shot for my aquarium lighting.PLEASE NOTE!: I had to slightly MODIFY the product & all works well!I own (2) Fluval Aquasky 36" - 48", as well as (1) Fluval Plant 3.0. All (3) light bars were able to fit on the dual bracket mount version of this item.I have the Aquaskys suspended from the included brackets in front & rear of tank. I then have the Plant 3.0 placed on top of the mount bars in the center of the Aquaskys. In relation to this light mount, it does its job. 👌I like how the brackets are maneuverable once the lights are suspended. I also appreciate that they included both rimless & rimmed tank attachments to limit confusion or mod purchases for the end user.I also loved that there was extra room on the bars to do some cable management (purchased a kit with zip ties, adhesive hooks, ect.)I do notice a slight tilt to the light bars once mounted on the tank. (with lights attached) These brackets do seem pretty strong!... but, depending on the attached lightbar(s) weight, I would assume it would tilt accordingly. I believe this is related to the actual tank mount and not the bars themselves. (I have mine placed on a rimless tank. not a bunch of thickness there to help straighten it out due to the total weight)The way the brackets attach to the tank glass (on a rimless tank) worry me a bit... I'm afraid that a lot of extra pressure is placed on the glass once mount is secured. Especially with the weight bending the brackets slightly. As of the moment all is well. Can't help but worry since no one wants 30+ gallons of water in their home due to stress on glass from light bars.😆**The modification I made to attach the Fluval Aquasky: I drilled a hole in each end of the (4) included adjustable brackets. Any standard drill bit will do as it is just heavy duty plastic of some sort.Once the holes were drilled, I used floral wire to thread/wrap it around the base of the bracket a few times in order to support the narrow light bars. (the brackets are way too hefty for my width of Fluval lights)All in all, everything worked as expected. (I purchased intending to modify. risky... I know) Would recommend 👍

Recommended Accessory
Very good solution to elevate Current USA light strip(s). Provides stability and completely adjustable. I use two to hold a 48" Satellite Plus Pro over a 5 foot long 100 gallon tank. Brackets fit over the tank nylon frame without issue. I may add a second light strip and the mounts should hold both with ease although there is some shakiness in the arms themselves with the weight of the strips. No big deal unless bumped. These also make for easier access to tank lid removal since the light is elevated. This particular tank is built into a wall opening and the arm length stops just short of hitting the back wall. I'm happy with this kit and really recommend it as opposed to just sitting the light strip on top of the tank.

Works perfect
This worked out well. I had 2 marine orbit currents I wanted over my 120 gallon saltwater tank.Everything fit perfect. The bracket worked well on the back. It says you have 1.5" and I only needed 1.0" . My tank has a black rim and still worked perfect. Brackets are sturdy and firm and have 2 lights with 2 brackets.
