A great and useful jewelry tool
I have only tried to test gold. It is a little more complicated than I would have liked, but apparently the process is complicated as well. It is much easier than taking your jewelry to a jewelry store and having them test for authenticity. You can actually use it to verify whether your product is what they claim it to be. It’s not that I don’t trust the jewelers, but I would like to know if my product is 18 karat gold or 14 karat gold. There was such a markup between the different products that it would be best to do your homework before you take it to a jeweler. You do have to be careful with scraping because you could put a big mark on a fine piece of jewelry.

NO instructions but company made it right
No instructions at all other than what's on the stone not related to performing the test. The company did reach out to me and mailed the instructions.

It's okay
I feel like all the colors for silver look brown even when I know it's real sterling and as the chart says should look red.. so I'm not sure of the accuracy. But iv not tried it on any thing but sterling
