Great value for low profile pump. Fit in my small kegorator just fine.
Worked great for a neighborhood block party. My kegorator is a small one for 1/6th Barrell only and it fit on top with the less than 10 inch clearance I had. Recommend owning one if you don't want to bother with tap fees/rentals.

Buy this tap!
I didn't expect much from this tap, seeing as how it cost $20 less than even the cheapest alternatives on Amazon. But we were all extremely impressed. Usually I pay $7 or so to rent a tap, with an absurd $50 deposit only to receive a half-broken tap that holds absolutely no pressure. This tap is honestly worth it if you are buying only one keg. First, tapping the keg has never been so easy. Usually the cheap rental taps spray beer everywhere (because the locking mechanism and seals are completely worn) and then you deal with about a pitcher or more of head. Not so with this tap. It has a pressure release valve that you can manually activate by pushing it (I believe it automatically activates when overpumped, but no one overpumped, so I can't speak as to that function). We cooled the tap down first (you get more head if cold beer hits a warm tap), depress the pump (as per the directions) and twist on WHILE HOLDING DEPRESSED. No spray. We had let the keg settle down 30 minutes from moving it in, but when we started pouring, lots of pressure and head as usual BUT release a little pressure off the valve, and we has a total of 1 solo cup of head. Then beautiful beer. I've seen a lot of kegs tapped (even at bars) and maybe there are some pros out there, but from what I've seen 1 cup of head then beer is amazing. Holds pressure like a champion. Seriously no leak. Each pump gives you a little less pressure than each pump on normal taps, but its a tiny tap and the fact that it holds all the pressure more than makes up for it. Buy this tap. Really. Don't waste your money renting. So far we've only tried it an a 1/4 barrel (pony keg) of Coors Light. From what the liquor store said, most all kegs have the same fitting, except some imports. Any one with more information or better tapping advice please feel free to comment!

Very pleased
I find myself in need of a tap about 5 or 6 times a year and was tired of the hassle of renting taps (which frequently turn out to be broken), so I decided to give this pump a try. I'm extremely pleased at the ease of use, the compact and lightweight design, the ease of cleaning, and the price.True to what other reviewers said, it's easy to use and to clean, and it really does prevent over-pumping. Only the first cup or two I poured was foamy, and the rest came out near-perfectly. This tap also comes in a compact box with very clear and simple instructions for cleaning and maintenance, including a full diagram detailing replacement parts should parts ever be lost or broken.I'm so glad to have this tap on hand and I highly recommend it for anyone who serves tap beer even occasionally.

Works
Have not used it on a pony keg yet. I did try it on a normal size keg and while it is nothing amazing it did work and better than renting the crappy taps and a lot cheaper then buying a normal size one. For those who don't buy kegs too often it is worth it.

good for annual keg parties
I host an annual keg party, so this gets use once a year. The first time, it was a struggle getting the plunger to go down at all. I decided to hang onto it and give it another chance this year. Found the secret was pushing down at an angle. Not great engineering, but it works with some effort. I'll upgrade at some point. This is a decent alternative to renting, but far from a top-shelf product.

Loved it
First, I love Amazon Prime. On Wednesday, I started calling around to see who had the keg I wanted for the party on Saturday. They reminded me that that the tap would be $10 plus a $50 deposit. When I found this tap on Amazon for $30, I said "what the heck, I should just buy one!" This tap worked great, was easy to clean, easy to install, and easy to use. My recommendation: Buy.

light duty.
It works, and would be good for occasional use. I don't think it would last in a bar or restaurant, but does fine in my fridge.
