Worked well for my electric stove in my apartment
My slum lord didn’t bother to replace the oven knob despite the numbers being worn off. It was just a blank, black knob. I wish this came in black to match the rest of the oven, but it is identical to the last knob, so I don’t care too much. I’ve been using it for over a year now and the numbers have t worn down at all.

I was very skeptical about buying a replacement but I couldn't read the numbers on mine anymore.It fits great and very securely.Highly recommend 👌. Great quality!

Works as described
Works as described. A little tight when turning knob to desired temperature. Probably will loosen up with use.

Numbers are reverse from what you normally see
I got this to replace the one on my Kenmore oven because the one I had was missing the metal clip on the inside of the center. This one has that metal clip and fits nice and tightly.Thank goodness for Amazon (I can't believe I said that). I had a difficult time finding a seller that had the one with the temperature increasing as you turn CLOCKWISE. Most of them increase as you turn COUNTER clockwise. I have seen reviews from people that did not realize this.This was such a small purchase that made such a huge difference. Now I don't need pliers to turn my oven off.

This was a replacement
When i moved into new apartment, whoever cleaned it scrubbed all the info on the dial completely. So I guess be careful when cleaning it.

Not for all hotpoint ovens
This item is not for my hotpoint oven. The numbers are printed incorrectly on the dial. There is no way to correct it. While trying I broke the cheap plastic.
