Zipper broken in less than a week
Puppy loves it but keeps biting the zipper and trying to get to foam part (the side) out. He successfully did it and destroy the zipper + foaming side within a week

Can’t leave your dog unsupervised with this mat.
I think that this mat has some really good ideas, but it really needs the caveat that it’s not for dogs that get really into the foraging part of snuffle mats. My (at the time) 9 week old puppy dug into the zipper and ripped the back off after his third use of this thing, which was really sad to me, because he loved it.But thankfully he just shreds things instead of eating them, because the bolster around this mat is made of foam and he tore it up into pieces. There are many other snuffle mats out there that would not need this kind of close supervision. The whole point of them is to give your dog something safe to work on while you are busy.

Cheap, MUCH smaller than photo, poorly made
So I have a 40lb beagle/ redbone coonhound (etc) mutt, and I actually use this on my front seat (2012 Toyota Tundra w/ leather heated bucket seats) and it doesn’t even nearly cover that surface area. It almost covers my center console - if that helps give a scale (photos to follow in the morning). I’m gonna re-purpose the suction cups (the string just loops around it… what? Yup. Anyways, I highly suggest skipping this and getting the dog outside and throwing treats in the grass (my dog LOVES that, versus a ball because he’s too smart to fetch a stupid ball more than 1-2x every once in awhile). But seriously, Mayshine chenille rugs on amazon are WAY BETTER for indoor snoofling’round. I bought THIS travesty to try and deter my little man from pulling my chenille bathroom mats to his bed. He loves those, and rubs on them every morning - rubbing his snoot and face all in them AND they wash super easy and the bottoms have maintained.

Absolutely brilliant for a Rat Terrier!
I use this snuffle mat with 1C dry kibble, using my fingers to work it down into the base, and it takes my excitable doggo the better part of 15 minutes to nose out every last piece. This has slowed her eating down more than any of the slow-feeder bowls I've tried by three times (easily) and her huffing and working the mat is a lot of fun to watch for me too. I've found the suction cups don't work well on my hardwood floor but putting the snuffle mat on carpet keeps it in place, as well as her standing on it while she works. I do put it up on the counter when she's done so that she doesn't tear it apart like a toy. Will buy again when needed!
