Delicious, fruity.
The only downside for me is the price - almost $70 for 16 oz. But still, it's the best coffee I've had so far in my life. I'm not a connoisseur, so my experiences are limited to most commercially available coffees in supermarkets. However, the difference in the first smell of the beans and then the first taste of the finished brew is so huge that it is like night and day compared to anything I've had before. The first thing I noticed when cutting the bag open is the smell of fruitiness - this carries over very nicely to the taste of the finished brew, too. It's not in your face, but just a little above subtle. My only regret is that I still don't have an espresso maker. I've been using my trusty little aeropress but it won't extract the level of flavor an espresso maker can. If you can spare the money at least once, it's worth a try.

The Caviar of Coffees
Really pleasant medium roast. As it brews, the aroma fills the house with pleasure. I am a heavy coffee drinker and love how this is so naturally sweet and not bitter that I never have to use sweetener and/or cream. At the same time, it is incredible with just a tip of condensed milk! Amazing! It is so perfectly mild and savoury that I now make my own coffee-flavoured ice cream and that is now another source of coffee joy. Perfectly lovable coffee. Took some to work and my coworkers are jealous. I agree with the label “The Caviar of Coffees”.

Old Tasting Coffee
The best by date was 8/17/22. I received it on 8/16/22. BUT this coffee is OLD and has the taste of coffee more that a few months past date. I have been in the coffee business for 30 years I know OLD coffee. To top it off the seller stated that was a mis-mark on the package, BUT no way. They asked for a copy of the date info and stated they would replace, but they have not done anything for more than a week after I submitted the information. Very Expensive, poor quality control & poor customer service.

Blue Mountain coffee is simply delightful!
I enjoyed Blue Mountain coffee in the past when I visited Jamaica and I am now happy that I ordered it again. This coffee selection from the Jamaican Coffee Club was the best! I am amazed at Amazon Prime's fast turnaround from the day I ordered it, and I only have one more day of the best coffee in the world left. I will order more tomorrow and will register with Amazon's coffee subscription service.

Took Forever To Review But It Was Worth It
Disclosure: This was sent to me for free via the Vine program. I did not receive monetary compensation to write this review, just the product itself. So I put in for the Jamaican Coffee Club in...June. Shortly after doing so, I had to put an embargo on drinking coffee. I figured it'd be a month at least but no, no, it was 3 months. So that puts us to September. September comes around and it's all coffee all the time mood so I busted out this to give it a try, only to realize that I didn't have a coffee grinder and this was whole bean coffee. I couldn't afford another coffee grinder so now I had to dig through my storage unit to find my hand-crank Hario Skerton just to do the review. After several sweaty days of digging, I finally found it. This week. MAN, my lead time on reviews is poor sometimes. I'm so sorry. Enough of me blathering, let's get into it.Coffee arrives double wrapped up in a bubble mailer. The outer layer is a jute bag which gives it a nice touch of homespun-y charm but the inside is your standard coffee-protecting bag. I opened the bag to find gorgeously oily beans with a heady aroma. This was done SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) cupping style, with 8.25g of ground coffee (ground in a Hario Skerton set to a mid-grade grind) to 150mL of water (recipe doubled in this case) in an SCA approved cupping bowl with an SCA cupping spoon. Trust me, I planned for this one. It took awhile so I was doing it right. Infusion was done with just-off boiling water (208F) and let set for 3 minutes before the crust was broken and the coffee evaluated. The aroma of it was extremely decadent and the creaminess they talked about evident in the nose. It was sweet cream, chocolate, dark fruits like plum, and toasted cereal and nuts on the nose. Dipping the spoon in and giving it a hearty slurp (slurping encourages aeration of the coffee and also drives my roommate nuts so win-win after he ate my pad thai a few nights ago), the taste follows. It's rich and full bodied without any charcoal or off-gas notes. Baking chocolate and cream are big flavors on this one, making it almost like a choco-coffee milkshake at times. It has some acidity that balances the brew out but not too much to make you pucker. It says that this is a medium roast but I'd put it closer to a medium-full roast but without the scorch you get from darker roasts so it's...expertly roasted. All in all, a delicious cup of coffee.Delicious cup of coffee? Yes. Affordable cup of coffee? No, not by a long-shot. 8 oz of beans is nearly a whopping $37, or $4.63 an ounce of coffee. So this IS a GREAT cup of coffee and would do well as a gift, I suppose. But this, for me, is a "once upon a Vine" kind of item: I'd only ever be able to afford this via the Vine program because it's just so far out of budget. But if you have a loved one that likes coffee, nay, LOVES coffee, this isn't a bad cup to pick up for them. Provided they have a grinder. Unlike me. Whoops.

YES, THIS IS THE REAL DEAL!!
Yes! Yes! This is the real Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee! As I opened the sealed pouch, I paused to sniff the beans and that got me going. I ground some beans and the first cup after dinner really made me smile. I set my timer on the coffee pot and woke up the next day to the sweet, sweet aroma of the ‘real deal’ all over the house. I'm loving every cup. What a difference! I am going to take some to work and make everyone jealous!
