This size is excellent for smaller gifts or something like a single jam jar. Sometimes, if I open with just the smallest of gusto, the side splits. I have to be careful! The handle is reinforced and it ships flat, wrapped in plastic

These bags are a great deal compared to what I can get locally. At the current price of around $29 for 100 bags, these are about $0.29 per bag. Locally, I can purchase this size in a two pack for $1, or $0.50 per bag. This is almost half the price.The quality of these bags is exactly what I expected it to be. They’re not terribly thick, but they’re great for holding an item or two. I ordered these specifically for gift giving. I love the basic kraft paper coloring and find that I can use it for any occasion from a baby shower to Christmas. These bags are also super easy to personalize and I have done so using both vinyl and markers (by hand or using an electronic die-cutting machine). When using them with a die-cutter, like a Cricut or Cameo, you do have to use some caution regarding the thickness of the bags, but with a little preplanning, the results can be fabulous. Additionally, these are great for using with heat transfer vinyl or permanent vinyl.Overall, I would highly recommend these bags to anyone who needs a ton of bags for any occasion. They’re perfect for just about anything you can fit in them, with the exception of extremely heavy items like large glass candles.

These 'kraft paper' gift bags look just like the pictures.I didn't realize when I ordered them that there were 100 in the package... that was more than I meant to get, but I am sure I will use them or find some friends who will. I think it is a great price for 100 (at the time I got them they are $27.99).I like using these plain bags for gifts because you can spruce up your gift with colorful ribbons and tissue paper. You could also use stamps, stickers, or markers to personalize the bags if you wanted to.For the most part, these seem great, but in the first 12 or so I've used/looked at, about 4 of them came with a small rip/some sort of manufacturing error where the glue that kept them together came unglued. I'm not sure how many in the rest of the box will be broken, but I took off two stars for that.Overall I think these are a pretty decent qualify. They are sturdy, versatile, and useful at a great price.

The media could not be loaded.  I like how firm the paper bags feel in my hands.I filled a bag with a sandwich, chips, cookies, and a soda can, and brought it to work for lunch. The bag held up well, without tearing.The handles make it easy to carry the bag; after I put the food into the fridge, I hung up the bag - via the handles, on a hook in my cubicle so that I can re-use the bag.I like that the handles are attached to the bag on the inside of the bag (as opposed to the outside) because it just looks better that way, to me.The product description page says the paper bag "....can easily carry up to 11 pounds...."I agree, as I put in 12.5 lbs into the bag, held the bag by the handles, and the bag & handle stayed intact.Overall, I like that these bag can hold quite a bit of weight and not tear.

These are very good quality brown paper bags with handles. The bag material is thicker than a regular paper bag and can hold more weight. These would come in handy for all sorts of things beside gift giving. If you ran booth at a farmer's market or craft fair these would be the perfect bags to put stuff in that customers bought. Stick a sticker on the outside with your business logo for a nice touch.
