In reviews some people have said these aren't a good value. For my little guy (14 lbs) these are the right size and a good value. I had bought a small package of the same brand at Ross a while ago. These are definitely the better value. A big bag. Yes, the pieces are all different sizes. For my maltese/shih tzu they are just right. He sniffed it suspiciously when I gave him the first smallish one. It does smell different and a little stronger than the small package I had before. But then he tucked right in and demolished it. He's an extremely strong chewer, so the smaller pieces may only last a few minutes. But the bigger one I gave him yesterday lasted 20 minutes which is great for him. There are a variety of sizes since these are cut ends from larger ones. I wouldn't think these would be a good choice for a big dog, but if you have a little guy these are great. I always supervise with chews and recommend that you do also. You never know what they will swallow. These haven't stained my carpet. I don't find the smell obnoxious unless I put a piece right under my nose. Tried it once, won't do it again! LOL. Cooper gives these 2 paws up!

These are my secret weapon! And such a good deal. As it says in the description, these are a variety of sizes, ranging from an inch to 4 inches (some of them are bigger!!). A lot of them are the ends (ahem) of the bully sticks, so they're different shapes for even more variety than your standard bully stick. My 15 lb terrier simply won't chew big bully sticks--he buries them obsessively and will bloody his nose in the process. These last him a good long time, and he is happy to chew them right away. My 34 lb BC mix can chew them pretty fast, but they're a good high value reward or can be stuffed inside a toy that rhymes with song for a longer lasting chew/puzzle.Bully sticks are mostly protein, very digestible, and I don't hesitate to feed them frequently--my dogs have never had any tummy issues with Best Bully Sticks products in particular. Other companies....can't say the same.

We received our first bag of these as a new puppy gift. Just purchased a second bag and couldn't be happier. Are there tiny pieces that we just chuck in the trash? Yes. BUT there are TONS of perfect pieces in different sizes to fit the chewing needs for our new Doxie puppy, our Chi mix and our 12-year-old Golden Retriever. Two pounds of bully bites at this price is a super-duper great deal. I was nervous when I read through so many reviews talking about small pieces in the bag. For those people who leave negative remarks about having to toss some of the tiny pieces...they obviously haven't read that the sizes in the bulk pack range from 1" to 4" before they purchased. They must also not purchase bully sticks that often to know how expensive they are. We are elated with the quality and variety in the bag and will always keep these in stock for all our kids. :-)

These are exactly what they are labeled, small irregular pieces of bully sticks, rather like the last bite or so of a full size bully stick. If you worry about your dog choking or swallowing too large a piece when they near the end of a bully stick these are definitely NOT for your dog. The dog's size really isn't nearly as important as their eating style. Even toy dogs shouldn't have these if they are inclined to swallow too large a piece without chewing it first. In multi-dog situations competition will also sometimes cause gulping of food and treats.My large Setter loves these, always chews them carefully and completely, and prefers them to full sized bully sticks. Since she isn't the least bit food possessive she never swallows them out of fear of losing them. She will often play with these before eating them, bringing them to me to toss for her to retrieve. She is raw fed and accustomed to eating according to her appetite and regularly having marrow bones which may explain her laidback attitude towards food. She eats only as much as she wants and does not automatically clean her dish at every meal. If your dog is relaxed and easygoing about food these are a good deal.

My pups are loving these and I love the value. Huge bag for a decent price.****Update*****I have continued to buy these as my pups love them. However, this is the second bag that contains a large number of small pieces that can be choking hazards to my pets. I returned the last bag for a replacement and that bag was acceptable, as I realize that there will be some small pieces. This time, the bag is full of small pieces again. I will consider a different size or perhaps a different brand.

I have been buying these bully sticks for a couple years now. I’ve noticed as the price has kept increasing, the quality has greatly depreciated! The only way to leave this review was to rate with a “star”. I would actually give this ZERO STARS.I attached a photo of what was shipped to me as a JUMBO BULLY BITE. This bully bite is not even the thickness of my pinky finger! I have received hollow bully sticks, I have received paper thin bully sticks. I have 4 active chewers! I’m not opposed to spend the money on the product if it were to actually be what was being advertised. What used to be a quality product worth the price, has just gone down the toilet. Such a shame since my pups love them so much!

Dog loves this very much!

We just welcomed a gorgeous puppy into our lives and into our home and we were very concerned about the teething phase with our children and our belongings. These are perfect. Our little one munches for hours while we do not worry whether she will hurt herself with a shard of bone, or raw hide. A bit pricey I guess, but well worth the peace of mind and our pooch loves them! The bag is a lot bigger than it looks on the pictures as well, which was a welcome surprise.

I have a 10 month old Viszla with a gluten intolerance so he needs good quality while meat chews. I looked at how expensive whole pizzle sticks were, then I came across these "off cuts". The price was much more reasonable and they have been a huge hit with my dog. They have a slight smell, but that's a kind of meaty smell not the wee smell people worry about. They're a mixture of hollow tube ones and more solid ones with both types keeping him happy for quite a while. Would definitely buy them again.

The smell of these bully sticks are unbearable... didn't realise it was not odour free... will not get it again. Most are v hollow and my dog chew it down in less than 10 seconds.

Being pre-cut these are an idea size for my two Dandie Terriers, they take about 10mins to eat one. Although they have slight smell it is not noticeable due to a resealable bag. Dogs love them but I only give them one every other day. Good for there teeth and much better for them than the imitation bones made from rawhide. Price wise I believe they are good value, will buy again.
