Dodge Dakota
Used to repair stripped out female threads for caliper retaining bolts. If you know you know and yes this does work and holds tighter than factory threads. Beats buying whole front spindle assembly and spending hours swapping out. This took 5 minutes with wheel and caliper removed and everything staged.

Vehicle savers!
These are an amazing product and helpful in so many different areas. I used them for my brake caliper bolt holes on my 1999 Dodge Durango which was a total savior considering I wasnt able to even find a new spindle for that year Durango, and the one I ended up getting from the salvage yard had the same problem, which come to find out was a problem on all Durangos from 1998 up to early 2000's when they switched from the single piston to a double piston caliper and obviously made other changes there too as far as the way they were mounted or something. Great product and would definitely recommend!

Just what I needed
I had stripped out Caliper bolt holes on my 2001 dodge Dakota. This kit worked perfect to fix this problem. This saved me from a expensive repair. Well worth the money.

Worked perfect on my old Dodge
I have an old 2001 Dodge Dakota...yeah she's still cranks like brand new....but like everyone else, the dang caliper bolt threads stripped out. Got this kit and it took a whole 2 minutes to drill out, tap, and screw in the helicoil. Feels much sturdier than the original threads on the other side. I always hand tight them because you can just tell they want to strip. But the helicoil feels like regular steel threads. Very nice.
