Not as good as expected
My fault I didn't read the full description, this fan only extracts and has now remote control I thought that the deluxe would have all of the top features .also can't turn it on and off with a remote switch

perfect fit, works silently on low settings, expensive for what it is.
perfect fit, works silently on low settings, expensive for what it is. Got it because I can leave it open 24/7 all year long without worrying about rain! And because it's quiet. Doesn't like my old power converter '95 rv runs only on higher speeds. I'm replacing the power converter for a newer style anyway ...because it overcharges batteries. I thought at first it was a problem with the higher voltage as mentioned in other reviews ... but then tried it with my auto 12v charger at voltages as high as 14.4 ... and fan ran perfectly in all the 4 speeds ... although faster! Hope it works for the long term.

Great upgrade to stock RV vent fans
Very nice unit, a great upgrade to the factory vent fan in the kitchen area of our RV. The four fan speeds are enough for our needs, we didn't need 10 speeds or a remote control. The lowest two speeds are pretty quiet, it's only speeds 3 and 4 where the fan noise is noticeable. It really pulls air out, much better than the tiny little factory fan. Love the fact that you can keep this open in the rain without water entering. The hardest part of installation is carefully removing the caulking from the old vent, being careful not to tear or puncture the roof membrane. After that it's pretty basic to wire this up to the existing 12-volt wires, then apply butyl tape along the flange and screw it in place (do a test fit first, however). Apply the self-leveling Dicor liberally over the flange edge and screws afterwards. If your roof has a pronounced arc, you may notice that it's a little difficult to insert the four mounting screws that hold the fan to the mounting flange, and it takes a bit of effort to get them in place.

Great fan, great price, unfortunately defective and no response to contacts.
Great fan unit, recieved after a few issues with shipping. Was a bit late installing (no issues with installation - very easy), though unfortunately the fan unit emits a high pitched and variable noise at even the lowest fan setting even after a long attempt to break the fan in running at higher speed. Despite replying to my initial email confirming a replacement motor would be sent, promised followup has not eventuated despite multiple reminder emails sent from my end and the passage of several months.

Quiet high volume fan
Wonderful upgrade for my travel trailer. It is quiter than my old one and pushes more than double the air though it. Installation requires removing your old vent fan. Will need some self leveling lap sealant (available on Amazon at Walmart or any RV supply store) and everything else is included in the box. It is a pretty straightforward installation. Highly recommend.

Summer lifesaver
We went camping and it was up to 30c heat. We turned this on, opened some windows and we could actually feel the heat being sucked away while we sat inside. Granted we have a tiny trailer similar to the size of a teardrop/Boler but this is a wonderful product. We also often don't turn it on (but still open) in the evenings sometimes and it helps with just getting the humidity out, so our walls are dry. Before the fan, it would be so muggy inside. My one complaint is I wish the vent itself was black on the outside. I saw a photo showing one that was all black but when I ordered it, the lid was indeed black but the vent grill was white. The all black would have looked awesome on my trailer.Very easy installation. Tons of YouTube videos on how to install it. Aside from tools, the materials you'll need are:- butyl tape;- dicor self leveling sealant (do NOT use any silicone products);- eternabond tape if you don't want to use dicor;- sticky back for strapping wires internally if this is a new addition and not replacing an old fan;- additional wiring to take it to your battery if you're not replacing an old fan.
