I Can Yell Louder

What this story does is to portrait the yeller in negative colors and to show how nobody likes her yelling. So if you think your child yells because she is unaware people dislike it, fine, this might work. I personally think most kids have temper tantrums and yell because they don't know how otherwise to handle their big emotions. This book will not help with that.

Not that great. I do not like the author’s solution and the ending. Great beginning but not my idea of an ending. Fixing yelling by yelling so loud you can no longer yell?!? No.

I got this bc our kid is a yeller and so far it only has made him scream along with the book 👀 I thought there may be a little more to the story, but basically a kid in class yells about everything and a classmate says she can yell so loud you can’t even hear it and so the yeller wears herself out trying to yell that loud and it ends with basically saying yelling doesn’t get you want you want. Meh.

After looking at the commercial I was really expecting a great book. End up reading it to my daughter once. I got the opposite effect with 5 year old who in fact started yelling after I finished the book, and for my older daughter who had a better understating - the wording is too childish. Not impressed.

I bought it was advertised as the 10 best book from a psychiatrist on Facebook. I thought wow this might help the children who like to yell and give me a head ache. the little girl yells story plot another girl yells and you can't hear her the yeller decides it is no longer cool to yell loud.. My child age 5 and younger did not get it and I was very disappointed. Not sure what I expecting but for the money and being paper back I expected more. I should have known not to listen to Facebook ads. The illustration was good the kids liked the pictures.
