SpeedSleev Smuggler Saddle Bag (Black Carbon)

First off this pack looks awesome and fits very snuggly to the bottom side of a saddle. Great design with plenty of small pockets for tools. Looks pretty cool when it’s all packed up and fastened. I’ve experienced no movement at all when it’s fastened and strapped in. One of the selling points is that it’s a small pack so I assumed that everything was going to be packed in tightly, which was sort of the appeal, I just didn’t realize how tightly. I don’t know how people are packing their tubes in this thing but it can BARELY fit a 700c 25-28mm tube. Just check out the first picture to see what I mean. So just be aware of that before pulling the trigger on this. If I saw this in a store I probably would not buy it because of the size of the tube pocket. So buyer beware. However, 4 stars overall because they advertised small and compact and they meant it.

Compartments are smaller than I expected based on the photos accompanying the product description on Amazon. Won't hold as much as I expected it would so I am returning the bag. Also the velcro tab on the end of the bag won't really stay fixed. Seems like a design flaw or use of cheap velcro. The similar type saddle bag I already have holds more so I will stick with that. It was worth a shot but like buying anything online, you can't really know for sure about a product until you get it in your hands.

I was looking for a quick access, small saddle bag to carry my bike tool, tire levers, a small patch kit, and an extra tube. This does the job. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars: it doesn't quite fit as well as the picture shows. I let my tire levers poke out the back, but thanks to the way it attaches to the saddle, everything stays in nicely. If I want to carry CO2 cartridges I am not able to carry the extra tube. I have started carrying a small patch kit (skabs) and 2 co2 cartridges for quick fills. It does the job.

The moment I unpackaged it I thought to myself "wow I could probably make something of similar quality out of a tube and some rugged fabric in about 2 hrs" but I thought id give it a chance.Park tool tire lever, single road tube, extremely small multi tool, 16g co2 and head-what I consider the bare minimum as far as ride essentials go. Apparently speedslev agrees because in the description, they claim all of this will fit. Spent 20 mins trying to configure them so they would fit. Pretty much the only things that fit are the co2 cartridge and the multi tool. The way the pockets are laid out is dumb-why make narrow compartments you can barely fit a co2 into if you're just going to fold it over and wrap it up tight anyway? I love the minimalist concept but this is just plain stupid

best saddle bag system I've ever used!

Unbelievable. The cleanest, most compact solution for carrying road essentials on the bike. No swinging saddlebag, no jingling c02/tools, just what you need, when you need it. In roll it and everything is neatly laid out and ready to get you back on the road as quickly as possible. Did I mention it looks badass? Or should I say doesn't look, as there isn't much to see at all when it's tucked up under your saddle. Perfection.Note: this thing is so minimal, it probably won't take any tube larger than a road 25/28c without getting really creative and using some of the other pockets.

this thing is amazing. i only use it to store the tube, a single co cartridge, a couple of fix-it sticks, and a lever and man is it small. totally unnoticeable until you need it, super well constructed. it's so great to be able to ride with something super discreet and nothing bouncing around in my back jersey pockets. also awesome for mtb'ing when you have a dropper post.
