Dr Christopher's Formula Herbal Eyebright, 1 Fluid Ounce

I had heard of this formula before and decided to try it because my eyes were kinda blurryand maybe had got dust in them that had not gone away. I did like directions said, poured a bitof boiled distilled water in eye glass cup, let it cool. Then added a few drops of this formula (after I had shook up the bottle fIrst).. I used it a few days like 3 times a day and it has helped. It does sting a bit and makes your eyes water, but that is OK as that helps the tear ducts workand wash away stuff in case they were plugged up. And its not like some really strong thing anyway. So I think it works well, just like the other products by DrChrstopher :)

It burns like heck so I only use two drops in an eye cup with distilled water and it's not so bad. I'm getting used to it and am about ready to bump it up another drop or two. The sting only lasts a minute or two and then my eyes feel refreshed and moistened.

Terrible product! Makes eyes sting and pain lasts for a while even after wetting my eyes with cold water my left eye was red for 24 hours.

OK, here's my two cents - I'm on my first bottle of this and when I first began I put 5 drops in an eyecup with distilled water and tipped it up to my eye and rolled my eye around in the wash. Oh yes it stings really good but I only do this for a few seconds on each eye, then do it once more in each eye. The stinging doesn't last long. I have had extremely dry eyes at night as I sleep with my eyes open evidently. I've tried dozens of drops but this eyewash I believe works best. I also backed off from 5 drops to 4 drops and I can tolerate that better. For those who have an interest, I also use a tiny bit of caster oil on the tip of my pinky finger and apply it to my eyelids after doing the wash. I am no longer waking up with excruciatingly painful eyes - I mean EXCRUCIATING!! Sometimes I've had to lay with my eyes shut, blocking out all light - and maybe ice my eye/eyes and the tears were profuse as well as blowing my nose as a result. When it comes to painful eyes - hey, I'll do many things to avoid the pain - you can do absolutely nothing until the tearing and pain ease off. I recently learned that the eye will heal faster than any other part of your body, within hours and I've found that to be true. When I have had the pain, my vision of course is blurred till it heals as what I experience is corneal abrasions - like part of your eye tears away when you try to open your dry eyes. I have gotten into the habit of using my index fingers to very gently massage my eyes in the morning before opening them to get some moisture going. All things working together, I'm a much more comfortable 80 year old lady. And I do believe this product helps immensely.

Strong stuff it works well if you can get over the burn. Don't forget to dilute!

I was excited to try this wash referred by a friend. I've been on them for six weeks and I still get eye strain and watery eye reading. Sadly disappointed.
